The main building is new and offers all the luxury that you”ll need. We slept in the annex, where the rooms are nice and simple but very clean and meets up with standards. The breakfast is amazing and they serve a good dinner too

The bathroom in the annex is outdated and somewhat small. Nevertheless the shower is good and clean.

Breakfast was amazing, staff were friendly and professional, the room had a good size and was well lit, wellness centre was very clean. The main hotel had superb finishing details and a great panoramic terrace.

Unfortunately the beds and the pillow were very hard and it was difficult to sleep on them. But it was a minor thing, all in all it was a pleasant experience.

The Annex is not as fancy as the main building.

Facilities in main building was good and location was good

No pool towels available (had to pay or use our own ones). We stayed in the building 200m away so it was a short hike for breakfast and to use the facilities which was frustrating but the price of our stay was very low so we can’t really complain.

Great view of the mountains, a few minutes walk to the centre, great spacious rooms that are very well furnished, modern and comfortable (if you like modern wood interiors you're gonna love this place), nice walk-in waterfall shower, spacious balcony, restaurant food was really good (five course meal for €31), plenty of nice staff

Reception and restaurant staff very friendly and helpful. Food also excellent at breakfast and dinner.

We stayed in the other part of the hotel a little further away and walked up to use the pool thinking there would be towels up there (as the pool and spa were included), when we arrived at reception we found out there was a charge (not deposit, charge!) of €10 per towel. I travel a lot for work and find it really unusual that towels for the pool weren’t automatically supplied as normally the hotel don’t like you using the ones from your room so insist your get them at the pool. €20 for a towel for me and my partner seemed like a rather high cost.

All our interactions with the staff, first via email and then in person, were remarkably pleasant: it is very clear that all staff members do very much care about providing excellent service. Our room was rather spacious and quiet, despite being on the front (road) side of the building, which is tucked away in a very quiet (and uphilll...) area of town. We were impressed with how comfy our bed was and with the balcony. Common areas are also very enjoyable. The breakfast spread is among the widest we've ever seen and top-notch in terms of quality and deliciousness!

The one thing that relatively bothered us was an automated email stating that, depending on the room we'd booked, we might end up at a different building than the main one. That didn't happen based on our booking but we found it misleading that this information was given, however promptly, only after booking (and with no relevance to our specific booking): the hotel must absolutely differentiate options from the start on the room selection page, and communicate clearly and solely with those people who book rooms in the separate building. Small details that may (should) be fixed: the bathroom needs more towel hooks all around; there needs to be a large mirror in the room: the one mirror we had was the one above the bathroom sink; more storage space might be helpful for stays longer than ours was. Three things that are not negative per se but people may want to know about either way: this hotel is specifically targeted for bikers, which does come with the occasional noisy crowd (though it never was particularly problematic for us); the pool is rather small and not intended for swimming or long dips; the hotel is way uphill: if your priority is being closer to the lake or not having to walk uphill from the lake and through town for ca. 25 minutes, you should consider that first. All that being said, we would definitely go back!

This is a great hotel. The annex is nice also. Don't listen to what other reviewers say about it. You do need to go to main hotel, so get some exercise.
