decor jarred with the historic architecture and name of hotel gave me to expect something from Verdi’s time. i expected antique furniture, period pieces. none except for chandeliers in lobby. decor needs a touch up by someone who respects history. rooms were exceptionally clean,warm and snug and linens comfortable and luxurious however. and i appreciated that.
