Das wlan hat nicht zuverlässig funktioniert. Das Haus ist zur Lobby hin etwas hellhörig.

very dark inside our rooms, very dated, got woken up at 6.30 each morning by the people in the restaurant below in the inner courtyard emptying bins, loading things up, chatting, even with the windows closed it’s so loud

Great centralized location, good breakfast. Perfect for our stay in Florence.

The breakfasts were terrific lots in quantity to set you up for the day and lots of choice. The location was so central and easy to get to all the main galleries and with lots of local restaurants and not far from the central market that is a gastronomic experience in itself.

We liked everything about the place and Frederick the owner was charming and very helpful.

We arrived before the self check in but nobody was there despite providing the arrival time. It was not clear which floor the B&B was so once we made it inside, we bumped into a lovely guy called David who helped us to get the 3 keys to enter the main building, B&B door and bedroom door - our room was quite dark despite having a window as the glass was covered and very noisy as people were moving furniture before 6am outside. No kettle to make a cuppa of tea or info about the wi-fi password in the room so we had to text them. The shower was lukewarm and sometimes cold .We spent only one night as we were off to Rome the next day, we skipped breakfast so we cannot comment on that.

Location was perfect and the building and rooms quintessentially Florentine; charming and evocative.

Not wishing to sound picky, but the main room would benefit from a little face-lift - repaint, dimmer light control, use of colour. The bathroom could really benefit from a complete refit, bringing it up to date and more user friendly. The shower really does need attention. Adequate but not great

This could not have been a better location to enjoy Florence. It is in a central location, facing a beautiful historic plaza, about 2 minutes by foot to the Uffizi museum and a short walk to Ponte Vecchio. Great restaurants and cafes are all around. It is ideal to stay a couple of nights to take advantage of this exceptional location. The room is spacious, with a very high ceiling, which we found matched the style of this historic city.

The bed is not the most comfortable, although it is not the worst. There are some noises from the plaza, and the curtains do not shut out the light completely. But all in all, we were able to sleep quite well and the air conditioner was effective in heating the room sufficiently in December.

Location was fantastic. Close walk to many popular sites.

Breakfast had sparse offerings and nothing hot. But Italians aren't really big on breakfast.
