L'alloggio è in posizione ottimale per potersi muovere senza l'ausilio di mezzi pubblici, pulito è provvisto di tutti i confort previsti.

una bellissima sorpresa.... innanzitutto la posizione, a 250 m dalla funicolare per andare alla cittá alta.... personale gentile, disponibile, simpatico.... assolutamente super ricca la colazione, con dolci, croissants, cereali, salumi.... insomma per tutti i gusti. La camera bella, grande, moderna e il letto comodissimo,. Molto grande il balcone. Super comodo il garage. Una bellissima sorpresa, un hotel fantastico, che io raccomando a coloro che vogliono visitare Orvieto. Spero di tornare presto al Picchio.

La posizione è molto comoda per raggiungere il centro storico e ottima la possibilità di mettere l'auto in garage.
La camera era molto tranquilla e abbiamo dormito benissimo: i letti erano molto confortevoli.
Lo staff è stato gentile e molto disponibile; buona la colazione.

We enjoyed the variety that was offered for breakfast. The location was fantastic as we could walk from the train station and it was close to the funicular which we used to get up to the old town. The room was lovely and had all we needed. The owners were very helpful.

This is a charming hotel located down the large hill from the historic center. It is a great exercise walk up and down or you can take the very close finicula. Everyone is friendly! The hotel is very clean!

Great location, superb host, we had 1 large room for 4 and a room for 2. Allowed us to leave our suitcases a day early.
Due to hot weather air conditioning was just able to keep up in double room, quad room air conditioning was great. Still a great stay.

We needed to return to Orvieto unexpectedly after two nights staying in the old city. The room available for same day at the best rate was at Hotel Picchio. We were greeted at the desk by a very pleasant woman who was professional and kind. She showed us to our room at a building across the street, which was more functional than lovely, but it had everything we wanted: a very comfortable bed, a great shower with wonderful water pressure, an in-room refrigerator, a large closet. The included breakfast offered a large selection of sweet pastries, yogurts, muesli, fresh fruit, meat, cheese and bread, as well as juices, and good coffee and a tea selection.
The room decorations were a bit off, with some odd pieces and strange placement of the mirror above the desk, but otherwise we couldn't find anything to suggest.
