Incredibly accommodating. Patricia was absolutely amazing. Incredibly kind, wanting to make sure her guests were comfortable. Really a great stay.

Area and facilities were amazing. Rural tourism at its best. Attention to details of Patrizia, the owner and manager of the place. She was always very helpful and caring. Prepared delicious breakfast. Eggs to your likes and the chocolate crinkles were so tasty.

Beautiful grounds, old world charm

I loved everything about this place. Originally, I planned to stay only 1 night, but at the end I stayed 3. The location is amazing, just cca 10 km from Santiago, surrounded with greenness, palm trees and various plants, perfectly taken care of. The house is organized in such way so you can have complete privacy, the landlady was very welcoming, warm and helpful in every possible way. The breakfast was abundant and diverse, with great coffee. The pool is with salty water and perfect to cool down during hot summer days, also with nice views. The room was nice and spacious, with comfortable bed and big bathroom. I am really amazed with the place, and hope to have opportunity to come back again soon. This is really a perfect place to enjoy and relax, and I recommend it 100%.

Really nothing to complain about.

Everything. Patricia runs the place with her heart and it shows in the fine details. She treats all of us like family. All the other reviews are true! My room is spacious and spotless with a kettle and biscuits. I also had a lovely terrace with swing chairs in the sun. She remembered my gluten and lactose free request for breakfast, even offered me to wonder in the magic woods of their home. I asked for dinner she even offered to take me to the village!

This was the last night of our pilgrimage on the Via de la Plata. At 14 km from Santiago de Compostela, the Casa de Casal allowed us to reach Santiago in time for the pilgrim mass at noon. The pleasant gardens and the peaceful surroundings, and especially the friendly welcome by Patricia, helped us to prepare mentally and emotionally for the final stage of our pilgrimage.

Excellent place in a lovely setting. Great walk into the village followed by an excellent dinner at the Casa. We consider ourselves lucky to have found Casa de Casel.

The wifi is a little weak, but really, who cares!

Everything was exceptional, from the momement you receive a warm welcome from Paticia to the time you leave. The building amd grounds are fantastic, I hope to return one day!

the host was one of the best hostess I had in Spain so far! she was so thoughtful anytime. drove me to the bus station, gave me a yoga mat, send me information to the aria and for different locations. I stayed two days longer than I booked because the food is so good and I think it’s so calming here.

The property is beautiful inside & out. Patricia is very accommodating, a great cook, and very knowledgeable & helpful. in the Camino guidebook the property appears a way off the route, but actually it is very close & well marked maybe 5 minutes. This is a very peaceful end to a Camino which will become chaotic as you walk into Santiago the next day!

Everything was perfect

Everything was 99% perfect!! Patricia is very nice and welcoming, she cooked a delicious dinner for us, set up the table pretty for us! The breakfast the next morning was very good too, we enjoyed socializing with Patricia as well...The inside of the mansion is so beautiful and well maintained...fresh flower arrangements inside the casa from the lovely garden all around the property...we took a short cab ride to get to her casa since we were very tired from walking the whole day none stop along the Camino! One of my favorite places to stay along the way since 2017
