The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the hotel was very comfortable.

I feel that the hotel was not prepared for invalid or handicapped people( through no fault of their own as it is listed) . Wrongly we presumed that there would be a lift and there wasn't and we were situated on the top floor. We should have stated the we needed a lift or a ground floor room . I do feel this aught to be mentioned in your information . Fortunately I did manage but with difficulty . On that note thankyou for a lovely stay.

Room OK, very tidy and good size, The staff were excellent and very friendly, Great choice for Breakfast and good off road parking

WiFi signal very weak in room and TV options extremely limited, for the price should have all channels available- Sky, Prime, Netflix etc

AS is common with most British Hospitality venues the extortionate % mark up on wines, particularly if buying by the glass

Loxation in Broadway & stunning look of the hotel. such warm welcome by the staff and amazing service throughout our stay. good amazing and such a high standard of cleanliness in the room

Lovely hotel in a perfect location. Nice room. The restaurant was excellent, as was the breakfast! The hotel bar was warm (log fire) and comfortable. Excellent local beers served . Overall, this was a lovely place to stay. Would definitely stay there again.

Honestly, everything. My heart felt happy the whole time - the lovely, smokey, country fire smell; the insanely delicious food and drinks (homemade ice-cream, a highlight); the genuine kindness and approachability of the staff; the perfect location; delightful room… I could go on. It was the perfect break, and I left feeling that bit lighter. However, I didn’t want to leave!

Stayed for one night for a work trip, hotel was lovely and staff were really friendly. Breakfast at the property was great with lots of choice and more than just the standard fry up!

Only small note there was no hair dryer in my room

we loved the location of the hotel and it’s a primary reason we would pick this hotel when we visit next year. it’s beautifully decorated and the dining area was lovely, including all the staff we encountered.

while it may be unavoidable given the location, the car park was a bit tight but understand this can’t necessarily be changed!

Amazing food, location, and value for money. I was sceptical after reading a couple of reviews, but the restaurant was great: atmosphere, staff and menu - all perfect! The breakfast was probably the best I've ever had (porridge with cream and brown sugar and smoked haddock with poached eggs (proper non-dyed chunky fillet and soft eggs). The room was very clean and rather snug but more than adequate. Our mobility isn't what it was, so getting up the back stairs was a bit of a pain with luggage, but you have to remember you're staying in a very old building - and if like us it's one of the main reasons you booked. Definitely, would stay again.

although very comfortable the en-suite bathroom was split in two with sink in bedroom and toilet and shower in bathroom with a flimsy door to bathroom.
