Food was overpriced. Breakfast staff were inattentive. Decor a bit dated

The bedroom was spacious and comfy, very good en-suite, comfortable bed, great amenities. The staff were amazing, always smiling, very polite and ready to help. At the restaurant, breakfast was great. We also had afternoon tea and dinner there. The service was flawless and all the food was delicious.

Shower cubicle instead of bath would be advantage due to difficulty with stepping into bath

The setting, the staff, the room was exceptional

Great hotel, comfortable room and bed, really nice staff and the food was excellent. My little dog was made very welcome. Super walks from the hotel and they have their own pretty garden which dogs can use.

Having to leave, weather was a bit dicky too! The open fire in the bar was really nice and hard to leave.

The location is a bit further from town centre, but it is absolutely worth for going there. The hotel is located next to river and you could walk around and enjoy the fresh air there. Breakfast is amazing and you have got so many choices, what ever you are vegan, meat eater or vegetarian.

Heating in the bathroom didn't work, food in the restaurant was overpriced.

The cosiness/rustic character of the rooms, the breakfast and the staff all exceeded my expectations. The staff were all helpful and friendly and the location is exceptionally beautiful.
