The hotel is generally dated and in need of some redecorating, some areas in our room and the corridors were dirty and hadn’t been cleaned for some time.

you could hear everything from the corridor to reception and other peoples rooms, mainly flushing toilets, talking and closing of doors.

The bed was very comfortable. The power shower was beautiful (I do love a good hot shower before bed). Friendly and helpful staff. The lobby looked nice and welcoming. Downstairs facilities near reception were very nice and clean (heard the toilets had been refurbished recently, as I did ask the staff). Usual facilities were provided for. Fresh and clean linen and towels.

The sound proofing isn't great, I could hear the people in the next room in the shower and talking at some point, the noise from outside (it was a ground floor front of the hotel property), traffic noise was hard to ignore. The rooms do need updating and redecorating, a bit outdated and some parts of the room looked aged (painting of the room, carpets, some fixtures and fittings). The room was clean though. They need to brighten the lights in the room as it was a bit dim. Plenty free standing lamps though, so I guess that made up for it, as I had to switch on all 4 in the room. I do like a bright space.

Very friendly staff. Restaurant looks great and breakfast was excellent. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Location is good with ample parking.

Only an observation and i'm sure this is in hand, the rooms are looking a little bit tired however, spotless. I would definitely stay again.

No usb port for charging phones etc in room. Booked garden room but were put on drive side. Food ok but not great.

Most of the staff were really good and Warren the night porter was very helpful and really good at his job..

The room was extremely hot...couldn't control the heat.

We requested twin room but didn’t get it 1st night , Saturday night was very busy and noisy during the night. Bar was closed by 10 o’clock when we returned back on Sunday night.

Restaurant on site. Quiet room. Ability to open window. Good parking facility. Excellent serving staff at the bar and at breakfast.

Disappointed with small bedroom. Bathroom lighting was poor and it wasn’t very well ventilated, tired fittings and style.
