The staff are really first class for their service and being helpful. We stayed one night while travelling across Europe. The location is a short journey off the motorway and the setting is peaceful and beautiful, even in the middle of winter. The rooms are simple and clean. We had a meal in the restaurant and even though we ordered snack size the portions were huge and we were well feed with a good quality evening meal. breakfast was well laid out with really good options.

All staff could not have been more welcoming We arrived late but still helpful and accommodating. It is a shame we only stayed one night as we only scratched the surface of this hotel and it’s amenities. Fantastic location close to Motorway but far enough to be quiet and secluded. A definite place to stay each time I travel this route.

Wonderful location on the lake

Food was ok but nothing special, we had 2 single rooms in the cellar, that were small with no view and not great ventilation. The rooms were very disappointing but it was clean.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel was very clean and the food was amazing!! Beautiful location on the lakeside.
