The online check-in was really convenient. The location was great as we intended to travel to the neighboring sites around. The room was spacious and the little patio was awesome for our dog. All in all, it was comfy and quiet.

To be honest we did not feel welcomed at the property and this started when we asked to check in 2 hours early. They told that the room was ready no problem but that we would have to pay 15€ for "early check-in. Mind you, check-in was at 4 and we asked to check in at 2 because we were visiting Besalu and it was 33 degrees out and we had our dog - which they knew about because they charge a nightly fee. I have never ever been charged to check in early, especially when the room was ready. Anyway, we went ahead and checked in early because again, we were hot and tired (I am pregnant). At check in the host did not charge me so we thought surely the charge would come through sometime during our stay (they have our card on record). We go to check-out at 9 am and the host is not there yet. We left and she called us to tell us we did not pay the early check-in fee. Again, we knew about the charge but it made us feel like we did something wrong by leaving without paying when they have charged us already automatically for the room and the dog. I just feel this small charge s petty and unnecessary when the room is ready and it literally does no harm to be courteous to your guests.

Size of the appartment is really good, general environment is lovely, swimming pool very good for families. Very good restaurant attached to the hotel.

Kitchen equipment could be improved (towel, cooking pots available)

Its a really picturesque place.

Nothing got to do with the premises but there isnt much going on in the area. Well at least when we were there. (End of May)

Fantastic

Fantastic spacious accommodation, well equipped for a family stay, super welcoming to dogs, and perfectly located between Banyoles, Besalú and Serinya. Great food that we enjoyed in our apartment. Immersed in nature, a gorgeous cosy retreat.

Only thing to improve would be to serve dinner on hot plates so the delicious food doesn’t get cold so fast.
