From the smell of the conifers to the gardens, great meals, great bed fabulous bush walk had it all

Everything went well!

Due to sudden Covid lockdown the restaurant was shut and we had to order room service meals. We wished the a la carte menu could have been available and delivered to our cabins instead of just the room service menu - was a bit disappointing.

Beautiful grounds, gorgeous cottages, lovely staff and great food. COVID rules changed mid stay and they adapted extremely well. Can’t wait to go back.

This was our second stay... and it seems that the maintenance and service standards have slipped .. both the lights outside our villa were not working ( on dark rainy nights we would have appreciated them !) TV in the bedroom was faulty ( picture was so dark that you couldn’t watch it properly!) Staffing levels in the restaurant need better resourcing, for instance, on one busy morning for breakfast we waited for over half an hour to get any food at our table but the next morning when it was quiet the service was good ( thanks Nicholas) so clearly not staff’s fault but they can do with more support!
