Location is perfect just minutes from the river and the spectacular sights of the old city. You will need to catch a taxi from the train station and you will be conveniently dropped right at the hotel door. There is a hotel lift and although room is small the gorgeous opening window view to the beautiful adjacent theatre building is just what you want to see on your visit to breathtaking Lyon!

It would have been lovely to have a bigger room but that is just not an option in most old city areas. The fantastic location more than compensates for any room size discomfort. You can get bigger rooms in hotels closer to train station but the beauty of Lyon is in the old city area. Staying in this hotel you will be within minutes of walking to all the great sights, restaurants and bars.

Excellent selection of local products at breakfast, the hotel is quiet and so close to all amenities. Was able to leave key at reception. Felt very safe like at home. The team was so helpful and professional. The decor of the hotel is very well done and paintings are not reproduction but original paintings done by local artist(s)

Difficult to find anything really, may be the room was a little too hot when I arrived, but saying that it was a really hot day outside (32degrees) and I remediated that quickly by closing the shutter.

dirty carpet, worn out and outdated furniture, no kettle, no bottled water, simpler like a hostel. Very noisy from the neighbors, also can hear from the street, didn’t sleep well at all. For the money I paid, it does not deserve more scores.

Excellent location to explore the Old City of Lyon and was near very good restaurants. Parking lot (pay) within 10 meters.

Internet was very slow/non-existent. Reception said was due to cellular change to 5G but was a problem during our stay.
