The location of the hotel is perfect as there is a beach right next to it as well as a variety of restaurants offering fresh fish and meat dishes. It is on the outskirts of Aegina Town allowing one to enjoy the vibe of busy sidewalk cafes, bars and restaurants which are a stroll away, yet the location is quiet enough to not be disturbed by noisy crowds. The rooms are clean and comfortable but the best thing of all is the stunning view one gets to enjoy every day. The owners of the hotel are extremely helpful and friendly and go out of their way to assist in every way.

Very cute and safe hotel, perfect location and amazing view of the sunset from the balcony. The Kalamakis brothers made us feel at home with so much warmth and gave us lots of useful information about the island. We look forward to come back again!

The bathroom floor got really wet when showering, a longer shower curtain would be helpful.

Yannis the Owners is very kind, and very helpful, he gave us best recommendations for food and places to visit. great location, and a fantastic sea view.

Nothing to complain about

I spent a very nice stay at Plaza! Hotel fill with love! Super nice brothers !They made me feeling like staying at home! My room has an excellent view of the sea and beaches! Very nice restaurants around. Highly recommended and will stay here again next time I come Aegina!

I liked best the amazing smiles and warmth of the two brothers Yanos and Erik . no words can describe their welcoming embrace as if we are old friends. They were very helpful with everything; carrying the heavy suitcases up the stairs and bringing them down , giving tips of restaurants and cafes and attractions, timetable of busses, etc. Second thing was location, location and location. in the middle of town just near the port and all shops and restaurants. u can have a nice walk at night and enjoy the sound of the sea waves, and activity of streets. the sunset was the best sunset we saw in all Greece. this was available from sitting just in the small balcony at our small table drinking tea. we just looked at the small beach and taverna direct from the balcony. Bed was comfy , also pillows.

the bathroom was really small and difficult to take shower . Water was not warm enough. when u take shower, the water will go out to floor so it becomes wet. I suggest they do something with bathroom. There is noise from cars and the ships coming to port at night or early morning. I was not bothered by this myself so I felt OK while sleeping .

The location is superb. Just on the north side of town, minutes away from the port and the social life, across the street from the beach, which is covered by little restaurants (directly across), an organised beach with lounge chairs (20 meters away) and a regular beach (immediately following). All of this can be viewed at length from the balconies that the seaside rooms have. These balconies are usable even in the afternoon (when the sun is on this side of the island), because they have canapes that the guest can lower. The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful, and the hotel is cheap.

The room is tiny, and the bathroom is tinier still. There is no way to sit on the toilet straight, or to take a shower without making the toilet wet.

Incredible view!

Great location, with 2 fish tavernas nearby and fantastic sea view. Just 5 min from the port. Owners are super helpful day and night, you will be in good hands!

The host welcomed me personally with great care and warmth. There is a beach literally at 50m in front of the hotel, and the view from the room is unforgettable. Wish to come back

A lovely family run hotel, Erik and yiannis were amazing people, lovely to speak to and gave us any information we required! We recommend this little hotel to anyone who visits Aegina island! We hope to come back one day! Fantastic!

From the moment I walked into the hotel (it’s superbly centrally located 3 mins away from the port) I was made feel at home! Mr. Kalafakis & Family (he has 5 sons & 7 grandkids) treat their guests like family members and nothing is too much trouble for them in order to provide their family members (guests) with memorable stays! I loved Aegina and it’s people and will be back for a longer term stay with my family next time around!
