the view was fascinating, close-by to the vineyard. we went for the wine tour which was amazing experience. the hotel restaurant Le Deck was impressive and worth the money. the room is a bit small but it was enough for ppl of 2.

Lavaux is one of my favorite places in Switzerland and I knew I would have a beautiful view from the room. I booked a room at the hotel to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday, who also loves the Lavaux. I wanted everything to be perfect and I made some requests to the hotel: an excellent room, a restaurant reservation for his birthday. Baron Le Tavernier exceeded all my expectations. The view from the room was simply spectacular, even better than I had imagined (180 degrees view). The room itself was beautiful, bright and very comfortable. The lady at the front desk was lovely. I really enjoyed the spa. Dinner and, in particular, breakfast on the Deck also exceeded my expectations for the quality of the products and hospitality, in addition to the view. In sum, everything was perfect.

We stayed in a room with a wonderful lake view and had dinner and breakfast which were both of superb quality with very friendly and helpful service and advice from the staff.

The only slight negative point was the pillows which were too soft and there were no extra ones in the room. We didn't ask for firmer ones so not sure of they are available. Everything else was terrific.

We had a great stay during the weekend. Enjoyed the spa (small but very clean, they also offer massages and other treatments but we didn't have the time), had dinner at the restaurant, and stayed in a suite with lake view.
