Very beautiful and calm place to stay! The host, receptionist and housekeeper - they were all amazing and helpful 👍 Fresh season fruits and vegetables in the guest room for free, Private parking - you can always find a place for your car, clean and comfortable. Great location - very close to the beaches and 2 km from Chania ! The host gave us a small traditional gift when checking out. So nice and lovely 😊 Thank you so much to staff !! I don’t think there was anything wrong.

Parking Roof terrace Staff Check-in

The only small issues were: - the toilet's flush mechanism was a bit faulty - water was dripping from the shower head, you had to close the tap really strongly

The owners were very helpful and friendly. The father even dropped us at the bus station when our taxi didn’t show up. Loved the local beach next door too!

Clean and comfortable room and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Staff is super kind, helped us with all needed. The room is with balcony with sea view and own little kitchen, the bed was very comfortable. Beach nearby is good but better to rent a car and visit the beaches Elafonisi and Balos - really worth it. Good value for the money.

Should be cleaning at least 4 times for 8 days stay in my opinion. Otherwise the cleaning lady was really nice and polite with us.

Location, Friendly staff, nice bedroom Very close to the beach

Very helpful and polite personnel. The place is not in the centre (old town oh Chania), but the ratio "price - benefit" is the best and the location is very communicative. Clear rooms, very comfortable kitchen and double bed. Quiet place, nice garden, the beach is 4-5 min walking. Big shop located 1 min waling away. I strongly recommend "Ilona Apartments" hotel, especially for the "Raki" lovers :-)

Friendly staff. Clean appartement. Plenty of parking space. Close to the beaches. Chania is approx. 2.5 km away. It was easy to find thanks to google maps. Fruits and tomatos were available for free. The fridge worked. The other kitchen utilities I did not use. When I checked out I was given a small ouzo as a present. There is a roof top solarium which is hardly ever used. I can recommend Ilona appartements if you are satisfied with an older building. It even has an elevator!

The toilet was to close to the wall.

Greatly added value the fact that the owner was offering for free a small selection of fresh vegetables (cucumbers, peppers), fruits (tomatoes, figs, pears) and other (lemon) every morning. They had also a a borrowing library in the entrance with books, guides, magazines and beach toys. The apartments are nearby the Chania center, about 5 min by car (increased to 15min perhaps due to heavy traffic). Also on foot or 2, 3 min by car we could find a nice beach for us and the kid (with no waves even when N, NE winds are blown). The service was great and polite, they helped quickly with every request.

The apartment needs a renovation, especially the (small) bathroom for that price range. The main negative from our side was that the bathroom was always wet, perhaps due to a leak. The contributed humidity from the nearby sea was adding to a not so pleasant atmosphere inside. Fly screens would be very helpful also for all the window openings to allow air and light, without any unwanted flies or mosquito. Also the roof garden needs improvement so it can look better.
