The location was lovely. Super breakfast spread. Lovely sit out area. The family that runs it is super helpful and involved.

The room at lower floor had a small double bed and no AC. Choose the upper floor room.

We felt that the Casa de Bovedas, identified by BookingCom as "Casa de Bovedas Charming Inn", has many features of a boutique hotel. In particular, while the Casa de Bovedas, with its patios, atrium, wooden doors, and white walls, has the look and feel of a traditional residence of a prosperous Andalusian merchant, it also has plenty of modern comforts including central heating and air-conditioning. And though each room does not have its own minibar, there is a refrigerator for guests: guests simply note their consumption of drinks and settle the bill at the end of their stay. Very significant is that the entire "Casa" has been designed and decorated very tastefully so that it looks and feels personal and private, not at all institutional. In keeping with the design, the welcome too is cordial and personal. Moreover, it's a joy to have a tasty breakfast in one of the patios or enclosed spaces. Fortunately there is a feature that Casa de Bovedas does not share with boutique hotels: the price is eminently reasonable! For us, the location was ideal: near to all the sights, quiet at night, close to cafés and restaurants and with fabulous views of the river, lake and countryside far below.

Visitors to Arcos de la Frontera should be aware that it is difficult to find a place to park in the old town (i.e., the "casco antiguo") and in any case driving into the old town entails negotiating extremely narrow streets and very sharp curves. (Incidentally there is no turning back: once you begin to enter the old town, you must continue and bravely squeeze through very narrow passages with sharp curves.) Fortunately there is a fairly convenient alternative to parking in the old town: park in the large Paseo Andalusia underground parking garage and rely on a taxi or the minibus to get you to the Casa de Bovedas.

Very nice with fresh fruits, bread an coffee, enjoyed outside at the terraze, with fantastic view of the lake.

It was very charming and welcoming. We felt like we were staying in a beautiful home.

The property is absolutely lovely. Every detail is considered and the rooms are cozy, spacious and clean. The common areas provide a feeling of home with comfy couches, a beautiful garden terrace with seating and an area for drinks. we really enjoyed our stay.

Interesting use of the various spaces and wonderfully designed, respecting original elements of the property, while updating and making the various living areas inviting and comfortable. The double room with the terrace and view of the lake was charming and perfect for solo or couple travellers. The owners were very helpful and welcoming.

If traveling with someone with limited mobility request a ground floor as steps to upper floors steep.

Best accomodation ever. Everything is și cozy and peaceful here. All the shared spaces (lounge, pátios, pool, terraces) are amaizingly cute decorated. Everything is dreammy and is like a cool cottage. The location is great, is în the upper side of the village so you can see the lake from the terraces. Having breakfast with that view or simply enjoying a coffee is a bless. Add the super beautiful garden/terraçes decorations and you are in paradise. The personal is helful and Nice. Breakfast is good and served with style in tone with the ambient of the place. I mean is not just a buffet or just Something served on a plate all togheter. The way they arrange the tables, the things they use to serve the food is as dreammy as the place and is Nice to enjoy food in a Nice way as os not ONLY about what we eat but how we enjoy them. My Room , blue room with View to the lake had also a direct way to the upper terrace.
