Price was right

The shower was ridiculous! Plenty of room for a decent one but was a three quarter shape ! When you open the door to turn it on it sprays out over the bathroom , you couldn’t adjust the shower head! Bizzare!

Everything was spic and span and in good working order. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed was comfy.

Balcony looked straight onto the neighbouring motel, but we still felt the unit was good value for money.

The place is simple and gets the job done without mucking around. We specifically chose this place because it had a kitchen, which was a decent size and well laid out. The staff were friendly and helpful (and forgave us for leaving a few minutes late). The night we arrived, a storm had blown up and the staff helped us out. Despite being right on the main road, we didn't hear a peep from traffic. The heaters in the room struggled with the coldness of the night, but the beds were warm and just the right combination of firm and luxuriously soft.

The facility was super clean, comfortable and close to main center (you can walk to the main center and the beach). Staff were very kind, informative and approachable. Ruth at reception was very kind that she allowed us to stay in the room although we arrived a bit earlier than check-in time and she also introduced nice local restaurants and booked one of them where my niece and I enjoyed lovely dinner. I strongly recommence you guys to stay in Marlin Motel.

Immaculately clean room; we appreciated that the heater was turned on when we arrived late in the evening; the filtered water that was available was a treat; and nothing was a bother for the staff.
