Breakfast was not what is expected
Bathroom with no hand towels, light not working, shower just did not feel clean. You must order your dinner when checking in ?? Only two steaks and chicken available.

The room was spacious, clean and the view was beautiful. The breakfast and dinner were both good and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
We were very happy with everything and River Place Manor.

Location. Easy to access external facilities. Property is well kept, the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was great( got to have the lamb shank).
The air-con in the room was leaking water and it is fitted directly above the head of the bed. Over a period of time the bed was wet and unfortunately it was the side my wife slept. This is an easy fix but overall the stay was exceptional.

Position on the orange river is magical. Restaurant has excellent food and great all around feel. Rooms are large and kitchenette was a bonus for us.

Location - excellent. Rooms - ideal. Staff - brilliant. Food - perfect. Overall we had a very relaxing 3 nights here and didn't leave the hotel. Shuttle to the airport was a bonus as there are no taxis at Upington.

We asked reception for a breakfast to take with us twice and when I went to collect the packages as agreed I was annoyed to hear that it had not been ordered. However , the staff quickly recovered and delivered a great padkos

We were received at the River Place Manor in friendly, personal way. The River Place Manor is beautifully appointed with all the necessary amenities. The rooms are spacious and superbly decorated. It suited us completely.
Breakfast was served in lovely environment by friendly staff.
Tammy Booysen took care of our every need in a highly professional manner.
The interior and exterior of the River Place Manor is maintained expertly.

Very beautiful facilities and rooms. Amazing views. Friendly staff. Accommating regarding breakfast. We received breakfast boxes as we had to leave at 6 am.
Not clear communication regarding food service at lunch time. Had to wait until 2pm to place order and then the sandwiches and salads were only done well after 3pm.

This was an unexpected gem on our trip to Namibia. A beautifully laid out and comfortable property to enjoy. The pool is amazing and the service was very friendly. We arrived on X-mas eve and we had breakfast at the property on X-mas morning. It has beautiful views of the orange river. Would definitely recommend.
