Really helpful staff, very comfy bed, lots of hot water and lovely breakfast.

I forgot to turn the radiator down, so was very warm in the room - my fault!!

Staff were so helpful and friendly, room was warm with everything you might need. Bed was comfy and en-suite had plenty of room. Nice soft towels and plenty of hot water.

Gluten free options were poor with only one dessert on offer ( GF cheese and biscuits would be a long life option ) initial meal was a disgrace but helpful staff and manager soon put things right. Asked for a quiet room but music from downstairs was loud and air con unit outside our window. Would not put me off going again because of the quality of staff.

Facilities were well maintained, looked like new and super clean. The staff were friendly and always happy to help. We had an evening meal which was of exceptional quality, large meal that was cooked perfectly and I would have happily payed twice the amount for. We also had breakfast that was included in the price of the room and the selection was vast, as much juice and coffee that you wanted was available for free and the breakfast itself was good quality as well.

The room was labelled as having a view but there wasn’t really a view from the bedroom window.

The room was lovely and comfortable, and really well put together. The staff were lovely. We had both dinner and breakfast and both were delicious, with the steak and stilton pie being the highlight of the evening meal.

The main downside was that the shower wouldn't get hot and there was no hot water from the bath tap so we had to shower using cups and the sink which wasn't ideal.
