Absolutely everything

Perfect little cottage close to all amenities for a short term stay. Warm and comfortable. Great value for money. Very clean. Have stayed in other accomodation at Cradle Mountain; this exceeds other accomodation in the precinct. Ate at the restaurant for dinner. Nice ambience with a great view and wholesome food from local suppliers.

Way finding and signage was poor with little or no lighting. Difficult to find location of dwellings in the afternoon light and snow. Would have been nice to have occasional lamps in the cottage.

We had the most wonderful stay at Wilderness Village cottage. Such a cozy space and very close to National park visitor centre.

Everything was great

Dinner was great. The wait staff were friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The room was comfortable and quiet. the night was below zero and the room was very warm and comfortable.

Only a few minutes drive to the visitor centre. Can see wallabies outside the chalet. The steak at the restaurant was delicious. Wifi and TV were both available despite the remote location. Heater kept the chalet warm.

The bathroom was a little dated.

This is the premier wilderness location in Tasmania and having our own chalet where you can self cater or eat in the restaurant is great. The cabin was cosy, great heating options but there could have been a little more in the way of kitchen bits (like plastic and paper wrap and maybe cooking oil), the things you can’t bring when travelling. Overall though, loved every minute there and especially the cheeky Currawong (large bird), that visited hoping for handouts. (Don’t feed the wildlife, People!)

Quiet cabin in the bush, very near entrance to Cradle Mountain National Park. Restaurant on site was helpful, view from lodge was fantastic.

Location, facilities, stuff - everything is beyond expectations. Also small things, like having an option to charge e-car, daily fresh milk and laundromat at the premieres is very appreciated.

The quietness, the animals and birds, the separation between cabins. Very private.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Was a perfect base for exploring cradle mountain. Loved the restaurant and loved waking up to snow in the morning and all of the animals that came up close and personal on our balcony.

Not much - It was basic accommodation - But the location is what you are paying for.

Location is just outside the entrance to cradle mountain so really convenient.
