Very friendly and welcoming staff. good location, close to many restaurants. Great breakfasts. Appreciated the good advice and recommendations for visiting Quito.

My mother and I stayed at Hotel de la Rabida in Quito twice, for one night each time, at the start and the end of our trip to Ecuador. We had various travel delays but the hotel organised pick up from the airport for us so neither of the delays was a problem. We didn't spend a huge amount of time at the hotel because, with our delays, we arrived late in the evening both times, but I can say that all the staff are very helpful, attentive, and friendly, the breakfast is nice, the rooms are comfortable, and the log fire in the reception is lovely on a cold night.

large and beautifully decorated & furnished rooms, good breakfast, very helpful & nice people at the hotel! the day we left our pick up was only late in the evening - still they allowed us to stay in the common rooms and even made a fire for us. thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

This establishment is a hidden gem It is centrally located only walking distance from an assortment of good food, shopping and do much more. The facilities are well maintained and extremely clean. It's obvious the staff (Andrea, Javier Jonathan along with the rest of the team) take great pride in representing this place The staff is very attentive, knowledgeable, extremely friendly and cater to all your needs. I highly recommend Hostel de La Rabida for your future stay. It's also PET friendly.👍👍👍 I have stayed here a number of times and have yet to be disappointed. Safe travels

We chose the hotel to be in the north part of Quito. It was well located and proposed all amenities we were looking for. The hotel was easy to find and well decorated. At least, it was very different than other locations we had been. The staff was super friendly and providing great recommendations in terms of restaurants as for transports. The breakfast was tasty and well served! Definitely a place to stay!

Beautiful old colonial house with very friendly owners in a great location. We had an emergency and they responded really helpful, bringing us a separate breakfast in the room. Overall I would totally recommend this place, despite the problem we encountered

When we urgently had to leave the building in the middle of the night there was nobody at the reception to open the gate. The staff were very apologetic about what happened, but for future guests good to know how you can leave the building.

It is a beautiful, little hotel with a cosy atmosphere. There is also a coffee place connected to the hotel, and they serve the most excellent coffee, with a smiling and pleasant waiter. The hotel has the most marvelous manager, Andrea. She was on me at once helping me make my stay in Quito as beautiful as possible. Many thanks, Andrea!

My stay at La Rabida has really helped me to comfortably make my way around Quito. Andrea,who is running the place, has been very helpful with everything and she connected me to Santiago and Paola who are both outstanding tour guides for the city and its surroundings! The La Rabida hotel has good restaurants nearby and the city center is just minutes away, $3 with taxi.

If you're looking for a place to stay in Quito, you found the right spot. We had a wonderful stay in here and we couldn't have asked for more. The hotel is warm and cozy, well located and the staff is super lovely. A special thanks goes to Xavier (one of the associates) who made us feel we're at home far from home. We highly recommend this spot, and pretty sure you'll not get disappointed. Thank you again for this wonderful experience.

Wonderful place with great service. Andrea was an excellent host with plenty of suggestions and help. Very comfortable room, and the shared spaces were cozy as well. Felt like a home. Also, a good area to explore the city from during the daytime. Be careful at night though (that goes for all of Quito unfortunately)

We really enjoyed this place ! The staff is super friendly and nice. They are always there for your needs and help you with everything! Always with a smile on their faces. The hotel has a super nice decor and is super confy! Good hot shower, big rooms (at least the one we stayed in). It's super clean as well and we really enjoyed the environment. The breakfast is also delicious. There is a small pastry shop downstairs (which is part of the hotel) with delicious products. The location is also very nice in a good neighborhood and away from the confusion of the historical center. You can take a bus or taxi to get to the city center which is quite cheap !

Everything was fine !!

Xavier was so helpful and everyone was so friendly. The room was very nice, clean, and had a very comfortable bed. The room we stayed in had a little balcony area that faced the street and was nice for relaxing in the sun. They were kind enough to store some bags for us while we traveled to climb a volcano in a different town for a couple days. We would definitely come back to stay here again in the future!

No dislikes :). I suppose if you're someone who likes it very quiet at night you could consider asking for a room that is towards the back of the building. We didn't notice any noise issues though.

Breakfast was very good - Ecuador has the best fried or scrambled eggs - we also enjoyed the fresh juices each morning.
