The room was great as was the view. The facilities that were open were clean and lovely. The pool was great and most of the staff were friendly. The boat trip from the hotel was nice, great boat, very comfortable (no toilet though so be prepared).

A lot of the food menu wasn't available throughout our stay. Nothing for vegetarians off the menu. The pool bar only opened our last day and didn't serve alcohol. Although staff were generally friendly few were helpful. For a low to midrange hotel this would have met my expectations, however this is not midrange in facilities, reputation or cost so I was a little disappointed. Luckily we left before the pool opening times changed until only 5.30pm close otherwise my review would have been considerably worse.

The view is brilliant, especially as if you eat your breakfast near the balcony and watch the boats travel on the water. The rooms were well fitted and maintained and the upkeep was exactly as expected. The overall resort is well designed and would be ideal

Quite a few of the facilities were not open. As we travelled in winter, we expected that the water sports and pools wouldn't be open, but 2/3 of the restaurant/bar areas were also closed which only gave us the choice of eating in the same restaurant each day/night or leaving the hotel more than we had planned. We assumed this was due to a lack of customers but it would have been nice to have been made aware of this previously.

Generally friendly and helpful staff, good food, lovely room, beautiful location and resort.

Piped muzak right outside the hotel room door which kept us awake at night and woke us up early. What ON EARTH is Hilton thinking? If not for this - and the fact that I had to walk all the way to reception repeatedly to get the muzak turned off (because the phone wasn't being answered) - I would stay again in a heartbeat. As it is, I await an explanation from the Hilton people before choosing their brand again!
