Good clean spacious room right opposite the water. A short walk to restaurants.

The unit was nice and the view was also nice. It's also a short walk to the city centre and so quite convenient
We were in a ground floor unit and there was a lot of traffic noise as well as a street cleaning machine that went backwards and forwards at about 4.30 a.m. onwards.

We had a room with a beautiful sea view but unfortunately Cyclone Gabrielle hit Napier on Monday night. Gagah, motel manager was exceptional in keeping us up to date. Letting us stay longer as all roads from Napier were closed. He provided a bbq and gas to enable cooking and nothing was too much trouble. We cannot thank or praise him enough for his help and support during a very difficult time especially as he had his own family to worry about.
More information from the police, council for holiday makers like ourselves. We relied on Gagah to keep us up to date.

A little expensive for a view of water with no access to swim. Not enough toiletries & stairs were a little average. The rooms were very small.

Very noisy. Noise from room above, beside and the reception area. Just really noisy. There cant be any insulation or double glazing so it feels like everones in your room

The lady who greeted me gave the ultimate customer service, welcoming, provided information promptly, helpful and enthusiastic. After the last bookings in Auckland this was next level service for a decent price at a peak time. Don’t loose her, I’d love to book again on 11th Nov if you can fit us in!

Very central, close to town and right across the road from the park so ideal for kids.
Clean, simple facilities. Lovely staff.
The only thing was our rooms floor was VERY creaky so I felt sorry for the guests staying beneath us.

great location and the small area out front for morning coffee was a nice touch
it was surface clean, but some issues such as large stain on bedding and dirty cutlery left on outside table means it’s maybe not as much attention to detail as this place deserves because it was otherwise quite nice
