The amazing view

The shower screens didn’t close, the kettle was broken, the stairs were dirty, only one toilet roll in each bathroom and we were staying for 5 days, one teatowel,

The unit was a great layout. It was spacious, clean, & the cooking facilities were good. The location is really beautiful, right next to the marina, but with a fantastic view of the Bay & Fraser Island. We loved watching all the boats going in & out, & walking on the beach. It's close to markets & the jetty & some lovely cafes & restaurants. The staff were lovely, & always happy to help. A lovely place to spend our 40th wedding anniversary.

I can't really think of any real negatives, accept maybe the spa bath. Not for us, but for anyone who may struggle to get into a big bath it could be a little difficult, since the shower is over the bath. maybe not all rooms have this situation though.

Staff were wonderful and very accommodating. Highly recommend

Unfortunately there was no wifi.

The location was amazing, the view definitely was the best part of this accommodation. The accommodation was very secure.

Unit was very out dated. Booked this accommodation for wanting to stay in the unit and relax. Cook meals in laze around watch movies at etc. No acutal lounge chair. So very comfortable. TV was small and old no way to access streaming platforms. No DVD player or WiFi. Bathroom outdated. Glass shower screen old and mouldy.

The view was fantastic, the location was amazing overlooking the beach. The rooms met all our needs. Very relaxing location sitting on the balcony watching the boats come and go.

Some items in the Rooms showed their age, needing updating (ceiling fans, blinds) Also need to get internet ( wifi) to the rooms. So not relying on hotspots from phones.

Apartment was tidy and the well set up for self maintain. View was great from the balcony and the access to the beach was easy and secure car port parking was great.

Could use a aircon in 1 of the bedrooms instead of only one in the living area. But didn’t worry us too much as it wasn’t real hot weather and fans were enough.

Amazing views…. quiet area ! rooms were spacious! even had our own lock up garage for our car !!

they need to invest in using cards as keys, as the keys were a-bit hard to use for my daughter ! but other than that perfect !

This is a lovely location vey close to the beach with a magnificent view overlooking the ocean

There was nothing I disliked

The location was great and rooms were clean.

Wouldn’t stay again…; - BreakFree need to be clear - There is no aircon in the bedrooms. The living room aircon doesn’t reach the bedrooms when left on especially when the main is on top floor - if no breeze and if people are smoking on their balconies it’s very uncomfortable. - They should also be clear that there are no lifts! Especially when lifting suitcases up 5 flights of stairs or with guests who may struggle to climb stairs. - Would also suggest they leave more washing liquid, laundry powder and toilet paper for those booked in for 7 days. - The Wicker chairs that we’re used as indoor seating break every time you sit down. - TV in the bedroom also didn’t work - No Foxtel - No wifi. - Secure Parking is horrendous as most cars have to park in no parking zones and boats take up most of the few car parks that are there. - Basic Cutlery, no pizza cutter, sharp knife or scissors etc

Close to the rsl. The aircon was great because it was so humid.

No WiFi, No mobile signal. Power point not working. Shower very loud noise and not working properly. Lounge needs replacing very old and saggy.

View was great.

Air conditioning was not sufficient. Room was dated. There was no parking available and had to walk a distance with 2 toddlers in very humid weather conditions.

Didn't have aircon in all the rooms and there were no ceiling fans (only pedestal fans which did nothing)

Location and views from the balcony are great. Nearby restaurants very convenient.

Have stayed several times and the units are very tired and in need of a revamp and maintenance. Fan in bedroom noisy and air condition struggles to reach the bedroom. Lounge stained. Fridge froze drinks. Needed defrosting and a good clean. Carpet frayed.

Location pool and great view

Many years staying at this resort and we have now seen it looking very run down, gardens and grounds are looking untidy and not mowed or maintained, large holes in tennis courts, gates broken seen young teens just entering and using pools ect, sauna has been out of order for many yrs now, games room needs updating, our room itself aircon was not working stayed in hot months with no aircon, brought this up and maintenance came to look but nothing could be done we were told When requested a room number almost a year in advance and be told this cannot. Be garentee

Location was to remote, so you need a car to get to main shops. Very dated complex.

Breakfree Sandy Straits is absolutely putrid and filthy. If your happy to have a disgusting stained couch, beds that look like hammocks, dark and dingey rooms and smelly musky stair wells then this is the place for you! They should be advertised as a hostel. I never stayed, I walked in and turned straight back out. Disgusting to advertise this to a family.
