We needed to leave early, so did not have breakfast at Kurrajong - but hopefully next time we will. Everything was perfect and our host was exceptional.

What a fantastic find in Launceston. None of the impersonal, large hotel chains where no-one really knows your name or asks how you are - just good, honest, friendly hosts in a magnificent historical house in Launceston. Andre's superb cooked breakfast with his 'special' eggs are a stand-out, including fresh fruit, cereals and everything you could imagine to line your stomachs for a day or three in Lonnie. Centrally located, we could walk into town, see the monkeys in the City Park, take in the spectacular Cataract Gorge and still get a taxi ride back for $12, exhausted from a day's outing. Hosts Linda and Andre were so welcoming and enjoyed sharing their story of Launceston and the wonderful home they love. They suggested the best restaurants, places to visit, local wineries and even smaller towns to visit on our way back to Hobart (which unfortunately are now bypassed). We were fortunate to get an upgrade in mid-winter to the best room in the house (the Adelaide room), with a bay window and two comfy chairs to lord over Launceston from one of the highest parts of the city. We enjoyed every moment of our time in Kurrajong House and WE'LL BE BACK !

While travelling around Tasmania we had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property & we have to say a big thank you to Linda & Andre for making us feel so at home. Accomodation is amazing and a lovely breakfast is included. Do yourself a favour & if travelling to Launceston stay at the Beautiful Kurrajong House.

Kurrajong House is a beautifully presented and maintained heritage property. Linda and Andre were wonderful hosts and made us feel at home. Very comfortable and cosy room and a great breakfast.

The ambience when we walked in our room was amazing, beautiful decor and facilities. Breakfast was amazing and value for money. Our hosts were very hospitable and full knowledge of the area. Great location.

We were made to feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and the hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was very good. Location excellent, walking distance to parks and cbd, quiet in the evening. Good size room and room amenities good.

We stayed in the Adelaide room which was beautifully decorated and had a nice bay window looking out over the garden. Everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained. In the room were tea/coffee making facilities and a bar fridge, as well as handy folders containing tourist info and restaurants. The owners Linda and Andre were very welcoming and helpful.

The property was a walk into town, lots of character and friendly hosts. The property was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ample and healthy.

We loved everything about our stay. Lovely friendly hosts, very clean, very comfortable bed. A truly lovely BnB. We would definitely stay again. We walked back from the riverfront one night, a good 20 minute walk but also easy to find and drive to places.

Overall the stay was absolutely lovely. Linda and Andre were exceptional hosts and were always available to answer questions, provide recommendations or just have a chat.

This was a beautiful place to stay at, great ambiance and decor, very friendly and helpful owners, fantastic breakfast and lovely and quiet.

Everything. Linda and Andre are wonderful hosts and go to extra lengths to make their guests feel comfortable. Located conveniently close to the centre of Launceston, everything was a moderate walk away.

Breakfast had a wide range of options, including extensive home cooked breakfast options. It was served in a communal atmosphere that was welcoming, inclusive and well hosted by Linda and Andre. Thank you. The location is in a beautiful quiet but central location which enabled us to walk to city parks and shops. Informed tourism advice was readily offered by Linda & Andre which really helped us to enjoy the best out of our time in Launceston & the Tamar Valley. Our hosts not only turned on the sunshine and had abundant roses in full bloom but we also got to see a platypus! 😉

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay so our experience for a one night stay at the end of our Tour around Tassie could not have been better. Thank you.
