Location was awesome, right on the river. You could almost touch the hippos. There we’re constantly animals to view grazing across the river.

Very good lodge, big room with private bathroom.
Equipped with stove, microwave, refrigerator, etc.
The rooms are literally on the okavango River, and we could see and hear the wild animals in the Buffalo park. Highly recommend to take 1 or 2 of the activities the lodge offers.
Very recommended
The wifi was bad

Of all the lodges we stayed at in Namibia, Ralf’s Lodge @Ndhovu was hands-down, and by far the best, most authentic, most hospitable, biggest bang for the buck! What makes a huge difference as we’ve discovered with all of our lodges, are those that are owner occupied, always give you much better service, and that is what you will find here! Also, the fact that they have two offerings waterside in essentially house, booths, are the only ones on the Kavango River that offered this amenity. We were in River side one, an outside our deck on the water, was a bloat of hippos numbering probably a couple dozen! What a joy, and treat watching this bloat frolic in the water and do their thing until 10 AM more or less, when they headed to the opposite side of the river, to graze and sunbathe, always returning an hour or so before dusk, to entertain us once again! The vibe is very relaxed at this camp, which makes a huge difference. It’s easy to mingle with other guests, make friends, enjoy Rolf’s staff, and his company, especially the fire pit after dinner each night!
There is nothing not to like about this camp… Everything is perfect!

Everything was fantastic!

The accomodation was so nice and we had a familiar atmosphere. Everything was clean and the service was good.
The food was extraordinarily good and every need was fulfilled. They had "Family dining" where everyone got the same food and still everybody was more than happy.
The boat trip to Popa-falls was a once in a lifetime experience🥰
The wildlife was always close to the lodge and we had something new to see all the time.

Wonderful location! We saw elephants, warthogs, buck and vultures from our patio.
Tents were private and had updated bathrooms.
beautiful crockery and cutlery!
Communal viewing deck needed to be washed! Lots of dirt and spills on it.
Dinner and breakfast were mediocre.

The room floating on water was the highlight of my visit. Amazing experience. This experience overcame my disappointment with tent number 8 in which I slept on my first night.
The staff need to be trained to be more customer centric. The level of service can be greatly improved. The tent I stayed in on my first night was below my expectations.

Exceptional service and friendly staff made for a great vacation. The Chef is really outstanding, he catered to all our needs in an excellent way. The resort is very comfortable and relaxing, with a game reserve just on the other side of the river. Also no mosquitoes, which was a pleasant surprise.

large widespread area with big, shady trees.we had booked the standard tent which looked very good but were more than willing to upgrade to the river suite and stay a day longer.hippos directly in front of the large verandah and lots of other animals all day on the opposite side of the river.this was worth every extra dollar! food was very good, especially the best omelettes we had in 6 weeks in namibia.highly recommendable!!!

We Love the the River View floating room which is situated in the river, excellent service with friendly staff and the opportunity to meet the chef who prepared the delicious meals, as she made presentations of the different quisines in the the native language (thimbukushu).
That the drinks were to be paid seperatly from the meal (dinner and breakfast) which is inclusive in the booking of the rooms

The location is great. Boat & Game drives were ver informative and yielded excellent bird and animal sightings. The food was also very good and the area has a lot of attractions. Tents were neat and functional and well appointed.
Water pressure in the shower and lighting in the bathrooms could have been better.

We enjoyed staying in the tent on the river. It was excellent! Spent hours on ”our” porch watching hippos in the water and antilopes and buffalos across the river. Fisheagles and kingfishers were flying around. The tent was spacy, clean and very nice.😊

A lovely place to stay, right on the edge of Kavango river. We can see lots of hippos and crocodiles in the river and the buffalos and other mammals on the other side of the river. As I was interested in birds, the kind owner of the place prepared me a safari in the river with a young but very competent guide and I have been able to photograph some species that I hadn't met before. Good food and good company on the table, and the tents are very spacious and clean with an huge bathroom. Very close to Bwabwata National Park (Mahango Core Area) full of wildlife, to Poppa Falls and to Buffalo Reserve I intend to return!

The view on the park and river is absolutely amazing. You can watch the hippos relaxing in the pool and occasionally buffalos and elephants come to the river for a drink. Be aware, that hippos will walk by your tents during nights. (which is great 😊) If you still have some time left, or need a stopover on your way back from Botswana, as I did, stop at Caprivi Strip and at Ndhovu Lodge. Go on a Safari Boat tour or/and have a Game Drive to the parks there. You will not be disappointed. One more thing I liked, the joint dinner and the dinner itself. 😉 PassingWonders (Travel Blogger)
One tiny little thing, as the terrasse is beautiful, may you could spend some time in setting up the tables a bit more welcoming. Same counts for the tents.

Personal approach, in rainy season an island experience. Nice and friendly owners. Wonderful game reserve next door, great sundown boat trip
Very poor wifi

The lodge is on the river and the bathroom is beautiful!
The price when booking it was not clear that the price is per person and not per unit! Was not possible to change the number of people on bookings.com and I had to send a email but never received a updated price therefore believed the booking was for 2 units as that is what I booked only to find out at the lodge that it was per person! When traveling and not always having access to internet it makes it a bit difficult! Granted I should have read more carefully!! But when I received confirmation it said fully paid!

Sit directly on the Okowango and watch the Hippos. :-)
