tight parking space , but we did get a space next to cottage , so not an issue .

We liked the comfortable bed and seating area, log burner, good selection of games and dvds, hot shower. It was really useful to have a private parking space by the front door and just a few minutes walk into the park and Matlock town. We appreciated the little extras, dog bowls/towels/bath mat, milk/tea/biscuits, toiletries/handwash etc.

Could have done with two folding chairs so all 4 of us could sit round the table for breakfast.

This is a gorgeous little cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The little extras provided by the host - toiletries, tea bags, milk, biscuits and more are a lovely little touch to make you feel welcome. Very nicely decorated and cosy log burner in the sitting room. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom is spacious. This cottage is in a central location around the corner from a fantastic park and with shops, bars and restaurants on the doorstep. It is still quiet and peaceful on a little side street. We will definitely be back! You will not regret booking this cottage if you plan to visit Matlock.

Great location. Very clean and comfortable.

The parking space is not very accessible with a large car, but we were able to park very close to the property on the road.

Lovely and clean. Very cosy and home from home feeling. Had everything we needed. Good location for lots of different days out. Our car was too big to fit in the allocated space but we never had any problem parking close by which was great. Also, it was lovely and quiet which we didn’t expect being so central. Never heard one car. Bed was so comfortable too.

Only a very small back yard (we were aware of this on booking). Just a little smaller than we maybe imagined.

Really handy location to Matlock within walking distance. Very comfortable bed and a nice little cottage to relax for a mini break.

Car parking was a bit difficult but just the way the property is sat and not much can be done to improve that.

Such a lovely place. Great location. Facilities were everything we wanted and the place had some wonderful little touches that made our stay perfect. Everything we needed was withing walking distance, a guide is provided for local walks / restaurants / bars AND the bed was so comfy I could have stayed in it all day!

Great little cozy house well situated for exploring Matlock area & the Peak District. The house is well kitted out & has everything you could reasonably expect any place to have. Nice touches inc mulled wine, Xmas decorations etc when we stayed. Spotlessly clean & well maintained.
