Exceptional! More than a home away from home... These guys have thought of everything, right down to USB charging points right by the bed! The grounds are a haven of old English beauty. Beautiful old world rambling charm. We would not hesitate to stay again!
I'm not sure they could improve anything here.

It can be seen that the owner of the house is a person with great taste in life and pays attention to details. For example, when you come in, there is a handwritten card. The water heater is not the kind that can only boil water but also has a heat preservation function. The most important thing is that we can burn the fireplace and we can also wash a jacuzzi.

The location of this accommodation in the most beautiful gardens can not be understated and the bird life was just magical. Event though you are only minutes from the centre of town, you feel like you are away from everything. The accomodation was cosy and the full kitchen and large bathroom were a luxury. Thank you to our kind host and his sweet dog.

The grounds were beautiful and the cottage was comfortable and spacious. Fire was going when we got there. Car parking right outside the door. Host was friendly. Washing machine in kitchen.
Venetian blinds in the bedroom didn't close properly. No blinds at all on the large clear windows in the bathroom. It needed a good dusting and there were lots of cobwebs outside in the patio area.

Lovely warm log burner going when we arrived. All kitchen facilities needed to create food so make sure you bring dinner AND breakfast. Separate bedroom with a double and single bed made up. Large spa bath also available as well as shower.
No blinds on bathroom made for a slightly uncomfortable use of toilet and shower..although fairly well screened by shrubs/trees. Two small platform steps in bedroom required care.

They weren't expecting us even though we had a booking. Room was not serviced so couldn't have stayed even if we wanted to. Did offer to have it ready on an hour.

It was so spacious and beautifully decorated and very clean and tidy. the outlook from the large living room windows was into the expansive garden with a duck pond with ducks wandering past which was very awesome. the property is a great location but just so private and quiet it was lovely.
maybe void have done with a few more kitchen dishes such as large salad bowls and measuring jug etc so guests can make full use of the kitchen

Wonderful setting, beautiful grounds. Feels like your in the heart of the country despite being a couple minute drive from the city. The cottage is an excellent size and very well equipped. Hosts are lovely, and the doggos that came to check on us were great.

Mike and Anne were so welcoming and the accommodation was excellent, lovely room with step down lounge and so comfortable. The breakfast they prepared was outstanding and way, way more than we expected. Their restaurant recommendation was perfect and we had an amazing meal.
We couldn’t fault this stay.
