Big, light comfortable room in a boutique hotel setting. The hosts were exceedingly hospitable and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I stayed at Sheilan House with the need for good wifi to undertake an interview. Before my stay they were incredibly accomodating in creating a plan for potential movement to another hotel just in case something went wrong. As it was, despite loadshedding happening at the same time the internet was superb. The hotel itself is a lovely place of tranquility and overall it was an excellent stay. Thank you so much!

Spacious rooms, common areas, lovely pool. Gracious, friendly hosts with good recommendations on restaurants, cafes, river trips.

Allowing Eskom to deny us breakfast.

The room and facilities were very good, the bed was comfortable and the owners gave us a warm welcome. Also there is a small private patio outside the room with a table and two chairs which is a nice touch. The B&B is also very close to the Royal Port Alfred Golf Club.

The only criticism we have is that in one corner of the bathroom in room 2 there was a number of damp stains on the wall and ceiling around the toilet.
