Big thanks to the lovely Maria at reception. She was so lovely and friendly (as was her cute little dog)! The room itself was basic but clean, and the hotel is close to lots of bustling cafés. A great budget choice.

Nice welcome from staff, who answered the doorbell promptly and found safe place for my bike. Simply but stylishly furnished, with a slight African air, which gave a nice hint of the exotic. Had coffee next morning at the bar which is related to the hotel

Very minor point: I walked right by the sign with the wifi password on without noticing, and was about to find the owner when I saw it. It could have been on the key fob, or mentioned when I was give the key.

there was mold in the room, didn’t look like it was new, only a curtain for the bathroom door and all very minimal, dishes weren’t clean and had a funny smell

The room was a good size for the price.

Our room was near the stairs and facing the street so it was very noisy from guests dragging their suit cases up the stairs and from people and traffic along the street. The shower recess was small and the shower head was hand held only.

The room was clean and spacious and the bathroom too. Located in the center of the town witch was perfect for us.

It really offered quiet place to sleep, though from other guests you'd expect from other guests not to talk very loud in corridors and public areas. Reception and cleaning lady were very kind. :)

Booking.com showed wrong street address to find entrance. Entrance and door bell were not clearly signed

I was advised that check on the day of my arrival would not be possible from 1:30pm - 5pm because staff were taking a rest. My check in was agreed at 1pm - 2pm. I didn't understood this from the telcon at 1pm (as I only speak Englush) so I showed up at 2pm and nobody answered the door. Naura understood that I was unhappy about waiting until 5pm, so cane across in five minutes, so the situation was saved. I was staying in room 11 (aka room 1 - as part of the numbering has fallen off). This room is close to the communal area. I was awoken at 3:30 am by guests who were talking loudly and playing their music at a quite high level. They were cooperative when I asked them to respect my need for sleep. Not their problem actually, the room faces the communal area and is not insulated for sound. The shower doors were not closing properly, but I managed.

The shower curtain needs to be shortened to the proper length. Doing this will keep it nicer and fresh. It was new for me, but to keep it nice it needs to be shortened.

I am glad we find that Pensión! María is a kind, helpful and lovely person. The room was very good, comfortable, as the same as the shower. I would recommend for sure!

The mattress was ok.

The room was small with really old and horrible floor, it felt sandy and dirty, apart from very noisy as all rooms lead to a common patio. We were woken up at 7am!. The price is outrageous for the quality and location of this property. I do think it is overpriced. Maybe the trick is to ask for a refurbished room? Shower door was broken and just one socket in the bedroom!
