loved the location, it was brilliant, hotel was lovely

The Manager…. on the 3rd day of my stay I went to iron our clothes and iron wasn’t working so I phoned reception and they sent me another one. I then plugged it in and it blew up, caught fire and burnt my arm. I then began to panic trying to put fire out so I rang reception but no one came up. I went downstairs myself and showed my arm, staff smiling said we apologise and will get someone to come and see you, at this point Manager had gone home. I then went back to my room got ready as we were going Golden Temple and came back to reception with my family, they agreed to get me some cream. Next day I asked to see Manager, he was there behind the desk, explained what happened he said are u ok I said not really my arm is burnt and I’m scarred for life due to your faulty iron, he said accidents happen.. I was appalled by his attitude towards my situation. He basically didn’t want to know, I said is this it then he agreed to give me dinner with my family. As we were out all day and I had taken medication for the pain I was in. I fell asleep and the restaurant manager rang to see if we were coming for the dinner the hotel manager had given however my daughter said mum not well from her burn and has gone to sleep he said ok have it tomorrow. The next day the hotel Manager said no u can’t have it as the offer was for yesterday. Again, I was shocked at his attitude so we checked out, while we were waiting for our taxi my husband asked him for some water as it was very hot however he said no there is none available….how disgusting was this after we paid for 4 nights and 2 rooms this was his attitude!!!! I’ve come back home and got doctors to check my arm, it’s been infected and I’m now on antibiotics, not forgetting scarred for life. I’ve decided to take action against this hotel now!

The reception manager and Onkar in the restaurant were very easy to relate to wh helped with everything. The location is central and the Executive room and Presidential suite were located on the first floor and for a family spread in two rooms this was really beneficial.

Only one or two minor bits and not worth listing, things happen in a popular hotel. The key was how efficiently they are rectified.

Issues with keys . Only one working key allocated to double occupancy people. So if one goes out, other is at the mercy of hotel staff

location corded too much Trafic parking is a big issues though they have valet and parking staff but parking is a big issue room has some Permenent smell not too much but it did smell ! Brakfast staff was 100% excellent but verity and test of food was 70% it was not worth 5000 to 7000 as charged + tax hot water had a issue but warm water was running heating had issue but portable was provided

Breakfast was so bad . The room was filthy. Dust in the water drinking glass. Never again in my life will I go to this Hotel. I will never recommend anyone. The only good thing was the reception staff.
