Lovely stay here - the arrival was great, the guy who checked us in in the cafe/restaurant was welcoming and gave us a warm vibe. Staff were all friendly and warm throughout our stay. Check in was straightforward and quick, straight up to our room. Our room itself (I think it was Room 4) was absolutely lovely - very spacious and cosy, and modernised nicely but retaining the traditional country hotel feeling. Room was very clean. Included a Scottish ‘Caramel’ biscuit for each guest, and some local ‘Campbell’ coffee! The breakfast was also great, down in their cafe/restaurant with a good spread selection, and you could order full breakfast dishes (full Scottish, etc) for an extra cost. Location is ideal if you’re visiting Inveraray castle - is 5 mins away, and hotel is on the Main Street of Inveraray with charming little shops and cafes. A few great restaurants nearby too, but I recommend booking them ahead of time as are small and full up quickly! We ate at the George Hotel across the road which was fab. We also got free on-street parking right outside the door of the hotel which was lucky! There’s also two big car parks nearby. We will be coming back to Brambles soon for a stay to climb the hill behind the castle - thanks for a wonderful stay.

Helpful staff. Location in town made easy walk to shops attractions etc. Spacious apartment. Great continental breakfast.
Car parking was stressful. Stair climb would have been a challenge but was assisted by friendly staff.

I loved staying here the room was massive the bed was lovely so comfy the pillows ( big thing for me ) were fab had a great nights sleep. The bathroom with bath and seperate shower was great
Parking was difficult had to park a few streets away must be really difficult in the summer

Tolle Lage mitten im Städtchen, mehrere Restaurants in der unmittelbaren Nähe. Zwei Minuten zum Hafen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten umd Parkplätze.
Unser Zimmer war sehr schön und geräumig, auch das Badezimmer super.
Frühstücksbuffet reichlich.

Vielleicht ein bischen laut von der Straße her, aber uns stört das eher nicht.

Beautiful room, well furnished and comfortable. Our room was on the Main St. We checked in and were shown to our room by a member of staff who informed us of the facilities, the help number available if we required it and the complimentary breakfast.
The check out person asked us if we enjoyed our stay and wished us a good onward journey.
Our server didn’t explain about the continental breakfast until asked.

We had a studio that consisted of separate bedrooms. Very spacious and cozy. Large bathroom and comfy beds. Complimentary good coffee, tea and sweets.
Location is perfect in the quaint center of Inveraray.
Cleanliness could be done better.
Breakfast is basic and you have to pay for a warm breakfast.
It doesn't have parking.

Great spot in the centre of Inveraray so can walk everywhere. We were able to get a park out the front for the night. Lovely lodging with a seperate bathroom & bedroom. Bathroom was lovely with roomy shower & vanity area. Bed was comfy, pillows were good and access was easy. Continental breakfast provided with big smiles, in the adjacent cafe. Lovely pastries & other choices.

The staff were incredibly friendly, the setting was amazing, room was perfect with the amazing addition of a bath. We really can’t fault a single thing. Particularly the staff we really have to praise them because they made the whole thing so amazing.

The windows made a bit of a racket in the night due to the wind but it was some 50/60 Gail force winds at that!

No microwave oven!
Door lock was very difficult.
Window cove ceiling corners are head bangers - could do with pads or contrasting paint colour.
Window frames and cranks leaked in during rain.

Beautiful and tasteful rooms with traditional furniture and high quality linens. Modern and squeaky clean bathrooms. Excellent service from the staff. Heating worked wonderfully.

The room was comfortable and clean and the bath was lovely. I paid a bit more for a superior room but it was different to the one advertised when booking the upgraded room. It was still nice but not quite as nice as the one I thought I was booking so maybe if that was clearer at the time of booking it would be good.
Staff were nice and friendly and easy check in.
We chose breakfast included. I really do think it should be made clear that this is a continental breakfast and even at that it really didn’t have many options unless you want a croissant or cereal. For the price paid you’d really expect a cooked breakfast. If it was clear at the time of booking I wouldn’t have selected the breakfast included option. We ended up paying for breakfast on both days anyway as we were hungry so it was pointless having it included.

Great location and beautifully decorated. I’m usually a terrible sleeper away from home but got a great nights sleep here.
Felt the kitchen could benefit from an extra rack in the oven and a couple more oven trays. Maybe a microwave too? Couldn’t use the smart functions on the tv as the Wi-Fi connection wasn’t strong enough to stream, maybe a booster is needed?

Very nice room with private bath. Great location right in the heart of the town and on the shores of scenic Loch Fyne. Only a short (12-minute?) walk to the magnificent Inverness Castle, home of the Duke of Argyll and Chief of Clan Campbell. Also a walk of only a few minutes to the bell tower of the town's largest church, which provides bird's-eye views of the area. Historic town jail is also well worth touring.
My stay in Inveraray & the Brambles were a highlight of a nearly 3-week trip to the UK! Note to train passengers: there is no rail station in Inveraray, but it is a beautiful, inexpensive (only $16 or so) bus ride from Glasgow, offering some of the best scenery you will see in the UK!
It was fairly expensive in late August -- about $160 a night, as I recall. But well worth it!
