428 Congress Street was a great place to stay. So close to the beach - a very short half a mile walk. The neighborhood was pleasant. The house itself was great and clean. Easy communication with owner. My granddaughter even made friends a couple of houses down. Thank you so much. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Property was perfect for our family of 6 18+ year olds. Very clean, great deck, great location, easy parking in driveway, easy walk to beach and Washington street mall. We have stayed many years in "downtown" closer to convention hall but wanted to try this area further south. We loved it and will be coming back!

We were in Cape May for a couple days of birding. David was very accommodating when there was a snow storm and another personal issue that caused us to postpone the trip twice! The apartment was just right - spacious enough yet cozy, clean and well equipped. We would return happily.

Went with a group of friends at the beginning of June for our first beach getaway together and we had a wonderful time! Property was just as described, cozy and clean with a very homey feel. It really is in the best location to walk pretty much anywhere in downtown Cape May. It is also pet friendly which is a huge plus. I had messaged Dave requesting to bring my pet bird - something he’s never had someone ask before lol - and he was more than accommodating. When my friends and I left, we were already talking about plans to return. We will definitely stay here again!

Seamless, except I forgot to take the print out of the details and couldn't access the property. Had to reach out to the host for info.
This trip was scheduled for last year for my 55th Birthday. It would've been a full house but it wasn't meant to be because last minute issues resulted in having to reschedule which I'm thankful to the host for allowing me.
I kept the same dates and it was just me and my BFF from childhood. Absolutely LOVED the quiet and simplicity. My job is extremely stressful so those few days allowed me a chance to unwind and I enjoyed every second of it.
The apartment was very minimalist which we loved - I hate clutter. Everything was spot on - all the basics needed, clean, fresh. The best part is you can walk from the property to just about anywhere you need to go...shopping, dining, beach.
I highly recommend this property and host! I am hoping to make this an annual getaway.

This property was so reasonable in terms of price and an ideal location. Only a short walk to the beach (maybe 4 blocks?) with restaurants and shops nearby. As well, only took 15 minutes to walk to the Washington Street Mall and "downtown" area of Cape May. The VRBO was fantastic - clean, neat, cute, stocked, and secure! We felt safe, had fun, and overall, comfortable! Our ONLY complaint was the WiFi was not working - unsure if an issue, or just needs an extender from its location elsewhere. Otherwise, would highly reccomend and stay there again when visiting this quaint and charming beach town!

Our adult family of 4 enjoyed our stay in this home. It was clean and very well maintained. The home is conveniently located and within easy walking distance to both the beach and Washington St. Mall area.

We enjoyed the space and how the unit worked for the four of us. It would be good if the site mentioned on the listing that you access the apartment in the back staircase just in case renters would find it difficult to climb a set of stairs to get to the apartment.
Dave was always available for help when needed. The unit was clean and the kitchen was stocked well with utensils and cooking needs.

We love this house, and David is a pleasure to communicate with. The house is close enough to walk to everything but it’s off the main strip on a quiet and beautiful street. We have stayed here about 5 times and will continue to call it “our” Cape May house! Thanks, David!

The property was in a perfect location for what my needs were. If you are traveling for an event, beware that the property has no linens. I had to go to Walmart to buy a towel to dry off with. There were plenty of spices to cook with but the most important item not in the pantry was coffee. My experience with VRBOs all over is that, Covid is behind us and towels and coffee are essential items for a traveler. Lastly, I wasn't there to watch TV but, in order for me to get the news, I need to pay for the service. Thank you for Hulu on my phone.

Perfect property. Clean. Cozy. Warm. Comfortable. Beautifully furnished. The property owner was immediately available when we needed him. Ideally situated to nearby Washington Street. Just a quick walk. This place allowed us (5 sisters) to make some new memories, share some laughs, enjoy delicious food and wine and just take a much needed long weekend together.

The house was perfect for our weekend in Cape May. It actually looks better than in the listing photos and we loved sitting out on the deck. Neighborhood was charming and walking distance to most places we were interested in. The owner was helpful and easy to work with.

My family recently stayed here for a weekend to attend a wedding at Our Lady Star of the Sea and Congress hall. The house was very nice, clean and overall perfect for what we needed. There was a small miscommunication with early check in, however, the house is so close to everything that we were able to get lunch and the house was ready for us in no time. If you're looking for a beach rental that's cozy, clean and close to everything, including the beach, this is the place!

We were so comfortable here! We loved walking wherever we wanted to go, then come back to a cozy, comfortable place. Everything we needed in the kitchen, comfortable furniture and beds, lots of hot water and great water pressure in showers. David was so quick to answer my questions too! I highly recommend!

We spent the week of July 4th in Cape May. My husband and two adult children. The house was perfect. Kitchen had everything needed to cook and outdoor grill was just outside the backdoor. The deck was perfect for early morning coffee and our dinners. So many wonderful restaurants in Cape May that we only ended cooking 2x We walked everywhere, the house was so convenient to restaurants, shopping and the beautiful Cape May beach.
The owner was responsive and communicated well prior to and during our stay.

The property was well-maintained, and access to the upstairs is exactly as advertised. The apartment access was perfect, no fumbling with keys. The inside was very clean, spacious and well-equipped. You have to be prepared to bring all linens, towels, beach towels, toiletries etc.
We liked the easy walk to the beach, and there are restaurants and supplies within walking distance. We would book here again, we did not receive any replies after booking.

Easy walking distance from the beach, with complimentary beach passes very thoughtfully provided. Location in regards to other amenities and things to do was perfect. The place itself was very clean and comfortable, with a nice deck for eating/relaxing outdoors - note that this unit is the 2nd floor of a standalone building, so make sure that going up/down stairs isn't an issue. Driveway parking was very convenient. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful as well. Would definitely recommend.

Spent a long weekend here with my husband, in laws and our 2 year old boy. We walked everywhere as it’s centrally located. The apartment is clean and comfortable.
