The room was small but beautifully decorated and furnished, it have everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the room very clean. Breakfast had a last selection on an A L'carte menu and was delicious. We were also delighted to be able to take our dog, the hotel is very dog friendly.

The only negative was the parking. We had not pre-booked and as we arrived late, we did have trouble parking in the surrounding streets.

I think parking could be an issue, at height of summer. But i suppose there is not alot can be done about that.

When I arrived the staff were so friendly. There was an issue with the room I originally booked and without any hesitation, they upgraded me to a suite prior to my arrival without any additional costs. The room itself was very spacious and had its own garden attached. Im sure the room I would have got would have been worth every penny however, the room they provided me with would have been worth the money had I originally gone with that option. The suite was easily accessible and had lot of things that allowed the room to feel very private which helped me to wind down before a busy week. Im certain I had neighbours but I wouldn’t know because the rooms we’re pretty sound proof! I would definitely recommend! I will be 100% be going again at some point!

(Silly little inconvenience) There was a small pathway in the suite that took you towards the bathroom, garden and a little lounge area. At night that was pretty eerie to look down with the lights off. I think because of where the bed is situated, you just stare it down as you’re attempting to sleep. Maybe consider a door there 😂 Aside from the minor inconvenience, I really cannot fault this hotel or the staff!

The room was was beautifully decorated, quiet and a perfect temperature (whcih after a wet and cold walk along the promenade was welcome!). The bed very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We didn't realise there was a discount offered at the Florence Arms for guests at the hotel until after we had paid for our meal. But this is minor - I can't think of anything we weren't happy with.

car by parking a bit tricky, park in adjacent residential roads and hotel gives you a parking permit during stay. that said once parked all was good thereafter.

The staff are all incredibly helpful and friendly, from check in to check out. We have stayed three times, in a different room each time, and all have been wonderfully decorated and very comfortable. The breakfast included in the room rate is also great. The free parking is also a bonus.

On this particular stay, the guests in the room above were quite noisy late at night and early in the morning, and as this and older builder the noise travelled down. This however is entirely inconsiderate guests and no fault of the hotel.
