Not a lot, apart from the staff were very good

The location was good, not too far from where we needed to be.

With having the first room on the first floor, there was a door to access each floor, normally found in most standardised hotels. But we found ourselves being woken up and disturbed by the door slamming behind anyone walking off the floor, as the door didn't have any mechanism to slow it down or a component to reduce the noise upon closing. The second night we stayed the room wasn't cleaned, the towels we had to reuse and the coffee wasn't replenished. The sheets had stains on from the previous guest, the light fixing on the ceiling was broken, the room had no AC all we had was a fan which didn't achieve much.

Breakfast was great, quiet room

The breakfast was very generous. We had a very good dinner in the hotel the night before. We had secure off street parking.

The address that was given on the receipt wasn’t even in the same town! We wasted more than half an hour chasing around Portsmouth when, in fact it was in Cosham.

Although I hadn’t pre-booked breakfast I paid in the day and it was lovely and good value for money.

Polite & helpful staff. Rooms were clean and towels changed daily. Nice big cooked breakfast.

Room was smaller that the photo implied and the wardrobe is actually a small pole with 5 hangers. Bed was very hard.
