The rooms were a little too small. The view for My first room wasn’t too great but it was eventually changed

Staff are very nice.
The rating on booking.com for this facility is not accurate. The gym is in shambles and effectively non-operational. Corridors are adorned by old and stinking carpets. The toilet seats are incredibly small! This hotel is definitely past its heyday and deserves a much lower rating.

when i check in i ask to take more days, thay say no problem. yesterday i go to reception and ask for extend 3 days, they say in morning and dont need make booking online. today in morning i was on reception and they say price is bigger and must change room. i lose half day and on the end i take other hotel.

Nice and clean and comfortable, staff are helpful. Best hotel to stay in Sierra Leone. The breakfast was amazing and very diversified. I would come back for sure.

The location was honestly the only benefit. It’s near a junction where you can grab any essentials and different modes of transport. I cannot find another positive unfortunately.
To start with, I am very appalled with the standard Mammy Yoko hotel in consistently maintains even though being a part of the Radisson Blu Group. The cleanliness and maintenance is non existent. We were constantly given dirty towels, dirty/stained bed sheets and dusty appliances. Even after complaining we were still given this service.
To add, the maids not only aren’t thorough with their cleaning but seem to be short of appliances whenever you need replenishing. For example, no ironing facilities, dressing gown, slippers, hand towel and a working safe - we weren’t given an iron or working safe until we changed rooms (due to unexpected circumstances - will explain further down).
The images provided on the Booking.com website is an ABSOLUTE deception and it’s a shame. The food, smiley faces, luxury pool and tennis court isn’t the real picture and what you experience. Even to the “Ocean view” we were given.. it’s horrible and not worth paying.
I didn’t like at all that we were ROBBED of our money whilst out for excursions by the maid (Emma). The maid was identified and never disciplined or we weren’t compensated. We were given a forged audit of who came into our room, no investigation report, delayed responses that lasted 4-5 days for an initial follow up and terrible attitude towards us during this time. We were dealt with Ahmed (the Financial Manager) and Abdi (Security Manager) and Patrick (Deputy Manager) and no one helped or empathised our situation. They laughed at us when we told them the incident, dismissed us and altered our verbal report. Not to mention allowed the maid who’s under investigation back into our rooms.
Even though they changed our rooms due to the theft, we still weren’t impressed with the view/room/service overall. I wish I could include more pictures to this complaint.
The hotel has very poor customer service and attitude.

Breakfast was good. Staff friendly. Flexible as well
When told to sit outside for dinner because the restaurant is booked by a group of people who are feasting as they are breaking their fas. They are few and most of the tables were unoccupied and that was also not relayed in a friendly manner and I was really disappointed at the Radisson.
I also paid for a room with a view and was given a room without a view, I complained and I was told at first that those rooms are on a higher floor and is under renovation but eventually I was changed through to e ruling of the manager. To my surprise I was not the only occupant on that floor and when we were there there’s no renovation that took place. It left me wondering

They surcharged me, they asked to pay more than what was shown in the Booking.com receipt, unless they will not check in me. Such behaviour is a shame, they deserve to be no more on the Booking.com platform.
