A real home from home couldn't want for anything else. Shame about the weather has it would have been nice to have used the outside facilities. 11 satisfied people.

The area was lovely, and being surrounded by animals was amazing. The host greated us on arrival and showed us around the 3 bedroomed cottage. Kitchen had tea, coffee and sugar and fridge had some small milk pots and a welcome bottle of wine. Lovely large dining table and nice spacious lounge area with tv and dvd. Great price and nice secure front garden which was great for the dog. Beds comfortable and all nice and clean. Nice hot shower and plenty of hot water. Would stay again. Thank you for a lovely stay to celebrate my birthday with family. X

Nothing at all to complain about. Not enough toilet paper initially but host gave us some more instantly with no hesitation so this is no criticism at all. The host asks when he sees you if everything is ok so i dont understand any negative reviews as you have them living next door so opportunity to bring any issues up whilst there! We had no issues whatsoever and would recommend this place.

How this place has a rating of 9.4 absolutely baffles me. Unless people giving the higher ratings stayed in a different cottage than me and my husband, I don't know. First of all, the cottage we stayed in is nothing like the one advertised in the photos. Not one of the rooms looked the same and even the outside of the cottage was different. The photos show a stone clad cottage. Ours was a white cottage. The photos also show the lovely surroundings. What they don't show is the caravans dotted here and there that spoil the scenery. The cottage we stayed in was filthy, rundown and sunk of damp/mould and the presence of mould was clearly visible on the door curtains on the front doors, in the bathroom and on the walls in the bedroom we were staying in. The doors had huge gaps underneath them and the back door was very hard to lock. The cobwebs looked like someone had forgotten to clean up after Halloween, all of the floors and rugs were dirty, the sofa bed had suspicious white marks on it, the sheets on the double bed were dirty and they couldn't even be bothered to tidy up the games cupboard, even leaving a tell tale Guess Who card on the rug from the previous guests so clearly the floor had not been vacuumed. The toothbroosh holder had old toothbrush gunk in it so had not been cleaned before we got there and the soap dispenser (which had obviously been broken at some point) was just a bottle of half used liquid soap (so it didn't match) and you had to lift up to be able to pump. The bath had a big clump of black hair in it. My hair is brown and my husband has a bald head so it didn't belong to us. The bathroom mat was so worn it had hardly any rubber on it and the cold tap in the bathroom moved when you tried to use it. All these little things could easily be replaced/fixed. In the kitchen, they had a rusty old chest freezer that we were told was not working so not to put anything in and to use the fridge/freezer instead.

Plenty of space, everything you need kitchen wise, nice outside space sitting areas, garden toys for children, location central to places to visit.

The location was lovely deep in the countryside very family orientated. Excellent value for money. Would definitely book again.

I know it was a rural location but sadly the local pubs were not really within walking distance.

The host is very friendly and helpful; plus, kindly offered to pick up some apples from his garden. Location is excellent for walking in Snowdonia – 30-min drive to the Ogwen parking for iconic the Glyders and Tryfan walks.

Given 10 out of 10 points, I would like to suggest that some things could slightly be refurbished in the, overall, lovely authentic cottage.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The owners were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help us enjoy our stay. The cottage is located in an ideal location near to Caernarfon and a fabulous dog friendly beach (Dinas Dinlle), the cottage is located in a quiet location with plenty of open space to walk the dogs.

A nice relaxing quiet stay. Had a nice bottle of wine on arrival.Lovely comfy beds with nice fresh clean bedding. Comfy sofas. Very hot running water. All rooms are big & spacious. Clean fresh hand, bath towels, bath & shower mats included. Washing up bits including dishwasher tablets Tea, coffee & sugar. Clean. Nice outdoors sitting area good sunny spot all day till late evenings. Good location for visiting places for days out. The nearest local beach is Dinas a few miles away, Dog friendly areas. Cafe & small shop near the car park. Big supermarkets are in Caernarfon,petrol stations & places to eat in or take away. A short drive away from cottages. Very nice owners & helpful. Car parking right on the door step. Opposite the cottages big open green space with footy goals & playing equipment. ( dogs allowed) The play area to the rear of the properties is for children only, No dogs allowed!! Very safe away from the main roads.

Lovely cottage, located in a small village in the countryside. Cottage itself is very spacious, equipped with everything for a long or short stay. We stayed just 2 nights, but were amazed with the calmness of this place. Hosts have a small farm, just a few steps from the cottage. Kids enjoyed playing with the rabbits, ponies and other animals. Would recommend this place if you need to recharge your batteries from busy city life.

It was an amazing place to stay, friendly hosts really accommodating. Lovely location, excellent facilities within the Cottage. All amenities close by. Already planning to go back.

Excellent size of property. Very well kept. Beautiful garden and animals. Very clean. All the things you needed for a great stay. Great value for money. Hosts where very nice people. Made to feel welcome from the get go.

unfortunately only one bedroom is accessible on the level for a disabled person unless you can manage the three steps to the other two rooms. slightly dated would benefit from a bit of tlc to bring the property upto top marks,

A lovely spacious property. Excellent value. Having seen the grounds around I am sure that a family with young children would love to stay here. As a small group of adults it was a perfect staging point for our exploration of the local area.

What a perfect little find. One of the best equipped places we have ever stayed in. Our granddaughter loved feeding the chickens every morning & playing on the swing. Plenty of toys there for anyone with children. Would definitely recommend.
