Mold on the mattress and probably elsewhere in the bedroom kept us from sleeping well. We coughed all night every night.  Good place for a Basecamp but not to spend time in.

Location was great, many super markets nearby for breakfast, they do their own bread among many other options. Cala Galdana is great as well, one of the few beaches with parking "nearby" (many others you have to walk/hike 20+ minutes). Many good restaurants for dinner as well. Bed was big and comfy. Parking on the street was easy and free.

The apartment feels 70 years old. In good condition, but old. Not modern. There is a kitchen but you need to buy everything, salt, sugar, oil, coffee. Many things that will be wasted. Used to have all of those available when staying in AirBNB. The dryer of the complex let me down the last day, it refused to start, they couldn't fix it. Had to travel with wet clothes in the baggage. Lastly, I found it was not a great value when my friends stayed in a far better equipped hotel for the same price.

The Desmais is situated in a quiet area 10 minutes walking distance to Cala Galdana. The property outside is well maintained, with each flat balcony facing a beautiful park. x2 complimentary biscuits, small water bottles, tea bags and coffee pods. The coffee machine was broken but changed with a new one on the second day.

Inside the flat was the older version of the photos posted on Booking. Right after our arrival, we noticed various things missing, making our stay uncomfortable. The kitchen came with very few supplies. Didn't include bottle openers, scissors, or any bowls, just to name a few. A screw was fixed on a wall as a kitchen towel holder. The bathroom didn’t come with any sort of free toiletries, not even a small hand soap, bin bag, or a toothbrush mug. Hanger wasn’t well fixed, and the shower and window were moldy. The bedroom was pretty humid with a damp smell coming from the wardrobe. It was promptly cleaned with bleach the day after, so then it smelled both damp and bleach. For obvious reasons, we couldn’t use the wardrobe and had to keep our clothing in the luggage for our stay and making them wrinkled. There are two bedside lamps but not the main one, so we have to walk in the darkness to turn on the light. Bed side is good but the mattress was sunken on one side. The blanket was too short and didn’t cover the feet. On the first night, I was cold caused the dampness but the flat didn’t have an extra blanket. After commenting on what is listed above, they have provided hand soap (apparently it was a gift), washing up liquid with a sponge, and an extra - short - blanket. The fact they didn’t take any responsibility made the customer service experience poorer. Despite the unhealthy condition of the bedroom, they didn’t empathise without even with an apology, not considering giving us another accommodation or any sort of compensation. On top of that, in the middle of our holiday, we received, out of the blue an unpleasant notification from Booking. Desmais reported us for misconduct, saying that one of their staff ‘felt threatened’ while we explained the situation. The staff member later on confirmed that didn’t feel attacked. Apparently, the report came from the manager, whom we never met in person just contaced her in polite terms by email.

The staff were very helpful with everything from booking restaurants to ordering a taxi and allowed late check out on our day of departure

The apartment was a bit small we were a family of four with kids age 14 & 11, we are just used to a bit more space at home, however we really only were in the apartment to sleep, so it was really fine, it was nice and quiet and the forest view was lovely

Good location you can reach the beach and restaurants and supermarket in 5-10 min walking, the view from the terrace is very nice, enough space for 2 people and nice furnishing of the apartment, no mosquitos :)

1. Not very clean, I had to wash properly plates and glasses that we used, there was no bottle opener in apartment 4 so we had to buy and left it there and we found dirty paper towels under the bed... 2. Not very good communication with the facility, I wrote to ask about parking availability and got answer after 4 days, in the meantime I called also and was never called back. We were told to park in space 4 but a car was already parked there...careful with the parking on the street the police comes and gives 200 euro fines if you park across the street. Also very difficult to find parking in August... 3. I paid 200 euros per night for 7 nights...I was expecting at least to have enough toilet paper for my stay. There was no cleaning and no change of bedsheets during the stay and in August without airconditioning that is not a nice experience to let guests sleep 7 nights without change. At least after the 4th night bedsheets should be changed 4. Check in only at 15.00 and check out at 10.00. the other hotels where we stayed offered check in 14.00 check out 12.00

Live music in the evening! Amazing food! Very big choose for breakfast and dinner. Nice, big swimming pool. Sunbeds with amazing view!!

Old furnitures but can't complain. We had amazing stay :)
