cosy little spot in a quiet bit of barranco. it's nice off the main strip, easily reached by metropolitano bus, and easy to get to miraflores. close to water and cool walks around the district. nice owners. very good value option. they have two properties (close by though), so you may move to another address (which has an upstairs, on the plus side)

a little further from the bigger shops than other places. barely any other travellers when we were there made it a bit lonely (but very quiet too). shared bathroom was still a bit of a bottleneck when people were showering.

Staff, atmosphere, location

Where can I start. The location maybe? Perfectly located one block away from all the center of Barranco. The street is quiet and full of little beautiful houses. Great coffees for the morning, good restaurants and nice bars. The room is perfectly equipped, the bed is comfortable and quiet. It's clean, you're pretty free in this place kinda like a mixture of Airbnb and a hotel. You have the same freedom with the services you can need from an hotel. And last but far from being the least the owners. Professional very kind and friendly and also very helpful if needed. Cheers.

This was possibly the most comfortable bed we’ve had while in Peru. The room was HUGE and so were the beds. I loved that it felt like an apartment. The breakfast was well worth the extra money as it was also massive. The host came and let us in early because we had arrived on the night bus and she was also super kind and helpful throughout. great location too! walking distance from all the attractions in Barranco.

Casita Libertad Barranco is in a great location, has great helpful hosts, comfortable beds, stocked minibar, and good facilities. The guesthouse is small, with three bedrooms that share one bathroom in one area, and one small room with a private bathroom on the other side of the house. Guests were respectful of quiet hours, so there was no problem with noise. Our hostess, Ana, was extremely helpful and lovely to talk to. She made our stay much better!

The bathroom and shower in the bedroom w/ private bathroom are extremely small, and the water in the shower does not drain quickly. The shared bathroom is much bigger and more comfortable. Also make sure to ask for a shower matt or towel in the private room.

It's a small hostel, we booked a double room, which was small but clean. The shared bathroom is clean too. Staff is very friendly. 5-6min walk from the main place.
