A beautiful hotel, with lovely staff who go out of their way to be helpful. The food was excellent, in particular the breakfast. The Eggs Benedict were delicious, and the Continental breakfast was extensive. We had a swimming pool right in front of our room, so if we wished we could have had a dip!

This is a stunning property with gorgeous fittings and fixtures. We stopped off on a drive to the Cape. The fact that our dog was welcome at such a plush property blew me away. The kibble in a Le Creuset was almost too much! Staff were attentive and we enjoyed a meal in the restaurant.

The main pool was being serviced when we were there and the other pool was small and cold.

Room was spacious and air conditioned. We were able to check in an hour early.

The staff seemed a bit chaotic, the pool could have done with a clean and our WiFi was switched off before we left despite us telling reception we would not be leaving for a while

Everything was very good. The fireplaces were my highlight as well as the food. The hotel offered great relaxation

my room had a “king” bed when I booked but it actually had two singles pushed together each with their own linen so effectively I had a single bed. very unhappy about that.
