Delicious breakfast made to suit each guest's preference. Hosts are the friendliest people on earth and went out of their way to make sure everything was fine for each guest.

loved the property, has an old but new feel to it. gorgeous grounds to walk around and see all the beautiful views and fruit trees. very quiet and peaceful.

You can't expect it to be a hotel. It is more a family-run house that has about 5 or 6 rooms. However, the place is beautiful and has a fantastic view.

I have to confess that I expected it to be a lower price for the facilities provided. Compared to the hotels around the Douro region, I had a different expectation and was a little disappointed. I do not consider it a hotel, it is a house with rooms, good areas and well decorated. The bed and the mattress aren't of the best quality. I didn't find it comfortable although it looks new and is in good condition, it should be of higher quality. It is challenging to get to the accommodation. You can not go to a cafe or restaurant without taking the car. You can hear all the noise from the other rooms.

The property is using 100% renewable energy from own solar, wind and geothermal sources. The owners were very friendly and arranged dinner even we did not pre-book. The location is great, but a little difficult to find. Good breakfast. The room and facilities were very clean.
