The owner (Hamdi) was a definite bonus, being very helpful and organising a motor launch trip with dinner on the Nile. Our accommodation was bright and roomy.

Small things such as providing better cleaning materials, dry towels, sugar, a hanging rail in the wardrobe and the bizarre method of getting into the premises. Signage is also poor and we had initial difficulty locating the establishment. That said, we had a good talk with the owner who promised to address these issues.

Will have to think hard... Actually there is hardly anything to like much here. Cleanliness was average. There was a fridge, gas and some utensils that we could use to cook. But that's what is expected of any apartment.

Many unexpected things: Location sent by property manager was wrong... It is far from main road. And lonely and deserted. Booking was for 2 bhk apartments but On arrival we were given one 2bhk on ground and other 1bhk on 2 floor,,, he said they provide booking as per availability at checkin. We were 2 families so it was hard,, no lift too. No wifi on 2floor. No handle lock in toilet. Toilet seat broken. Midnight power cuts here are troublesome. No power backup. Attitude of property manager Mohamed was indifferent because we did not book local tours with that he kept insisting. If u order food with them They sell u the same packed from nearby restaurants at 2-3 times the prices.. Moreover, at the time of checkout, he just insisted and grabbed my mobile to give 5 star reviews for our stay... It's very pushy and indecent. He also asked our religion which is none of his business. Overall this attitude made us feel insecure at this property. Not recommended.

I loved the location the apartment was huge! It was also very quiet. We loved the welcome of this wonderful man, Mohamed! Overall Mohamed was very helpful and caring and he took care of us! Well done to the wise choice of the owner to have such a good person like Mohamed on his staff. The house also had two bathrooms and a laundry room, as well as a wonderful pool.

The location was lovely. The pool was great after a long day at the Luxor sites and the closeness to the ferry to the eastbank and some restaurants on the westbank is fab. The host is wonderful and brought us to his village for the Ramadan breakfast with his family.

The mosquitoes! They came to the human buffet in large numbers. A mosquito net would have saved us from lots of bumps and given us a good night sleep!

The apartment is beautiful, there's everything you need and more! Hamdi is a great host, very attentive, helpful and generous. The location is perfect, next to a field and very close to the river Nile, restaurants and ferry to East Bank. The pool saves you on a hot day. Mama Africa is just a perfect place to stay!

Everything was perfect!

1 - Perfect location! Luxor is enormous. It’s very important where you are staying. This place is just on the Nile. There are boats that can take you any time to the other side where the Luxor temple is. Also there are cute restaurants near the river that are 3-4 minutes away from the Villa. 2 - the place looks much better than on the photos! The apartment we got was so huge and the beds were big and with very nice mattresses. 3 - the swimming pool area 4 - stuff was very friendly and Can help you with everything you need. 5 - excellent value for money!

The Flat is ideally location for sightseeing. It is just off the main street so you have relaxing quiet evenings and mornings but as soon as you step out of the flat, you are in walking distance of the shops, taxis and the River Nile. The pool was clean and you can swim at whatever time you wish, inlcuding the night!

Spacious rooms, with lovely decor. Having a dining table and living room space was nice and just what we needed for our 1 night stay. Owner was very accommodating and showed us round before we booked property.

The price was great..24usd$ for 2.

No Roof-Top View...was hard to find...it is on booking map (blue) about 400m further down (red point) told him to change for further guests..he said it is not possible???....it is a down floor and you see to the unfinished pool (photo dated 20.11.2022!)....when we arrived was no toilet paper and towel there...we asked for it...they said will bring immediately...after 3 hours he still did not bring the things...so I had to call again to bring it..? I asked the owner.. how you would like and act when your lady or kid need to go to toilet and their is no toilet paper or you want after whole day traveling and 3hours waiting for a towel for a shower? I WAS BUYING 3 TOWELS IN THE SHOP NEAR BY...and my lady was in the restaurant toilet near by...Wifi Signal sometimes good...sometimes not..same with TV. We went after 2 nights to the Villa BAHRI which has clean pool with garden to chill..top roof..super fast Wifi with 3 routers...pool..roof and room and TV Signal..but cost 33usd$ for 2 persons comparing 24$, also only 9$ more and no noise in the morning banging at your window and doors...
