Kitchen is in desperate need of an upgrade. Cupboard falling apart. Bathroom needs some modifications for the toilet open areas

Well the description on booking didn’t really match. It says “fully equipped kitchen” but we didn’t even have a dishwasher or proper oven (just a small electric one). I guess for that price level you can definitely expect one. Also, in the booking Q&A it says the apartment has a washing machine but it doesn’t… Lastly, I didn’t like (although it’s just a small amount) that we have to pay an admin fee to leave a deposit (even if you don’t damage anything)… If I book through booking, why is there another third party involved?

The location seems safe and easy to drive, restaurants are all within walking distance. Sea view is amazing!!

Would be nice if they can offer more bath towels and renew them more often :)

the view is exceptional. The cleaning lady was very friendly! WiFi was stable. Coffee Pods for the coffee maker was a nice touch.

there is NO PARKING. the expectation to park in a street and walk with luggage for the price is just simply absurd! when you lucky enough to find parking (one of 4 for many more properties!) the security from the neighbouring housing complex shouts and complains at you! if you want to stay here I’d suggest not hiring a car! the fact you have to cart luggage and shopping through the streets and up a steep hill because of their “catch” parking is just not nice especially considering the rate you pay! the music from neighbouring bars and clubs (tigers milk cafe caprice etc) is rather unpleasant. some touch up maintenance and repairs would be great (again considering the rate!) cupboard in the second bedroom was very small so we lived out of our bags. the oven could only cook one medium sized steak at a time (but they did have a gas braai so that was easier.) plugs in the kitchen - only one worked and the toaster handle was almost broken so we ended up not using it at all in fear of it breaking and we being responsible! as nice as the view is I don’t think we would ever return nor recommend.
