Everything! The house and location is beautiful and located next to an olive grove. It’s very calm and peaceful and is perfect if you’re looking for a few days in nature. We met the daughter of the owner the next day who made sure all of our needs were met.

The only thing we were missing were some basic amenities in the kitchen such as coffee capsules and tea bags. However, it was provided to us after we inquired.

Very far from the main road

Quinta da Mata is located in the middle of a beautiful olive orchard. Roughly a 30 minute drive brings you to some amazing sites in the region or a nice store. The hosts are very helpful, nice and try to make your stay as enjoyable as can be. We stayed here with 3 little kids and had a great time. In the region while visiting the sites and on the property of Quinta da Mata it was a great place to relax.

To be honest this is a though question, the location is very nice, the facilities are excellent. So no real issues come to mind. If you like peace and quite this is an excellent place.

Set in a peaceful scenery, among olive trees and farmland, complemented by a peacock henhouse. The house is large with 3 very comfortable bedrooms with en suite, plenty of parking space and super friendly staff (and owners). WiFi is free and fast.

No AC in the bedrooms (there is one in the living room though). Unfortunately, also no breakfast service. We knew this and prepared for it, but the beauty of the place deserves a nice homemade breakfast.

We were 3 people staying at Quinta da Mata for 9 nights in July 2021. The house is very roomy and was 100% clean and nice upon our arrival 👍 It was very well equipped and everything was working 👍 The place is perfect if you have a car and love the countryside, which we do in our family and we can only give the place and people our best recommendations.
