Excellent host and breakfast

A truly beautiful house with fantastic sitting room and spacious bedroom and bathroom. The owner was very helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble including outstanding breakfast. If we planned to return to the area we would certainly stay again.

Breakfast great and just what we needed. Location right in the heart of such a beautiful town where you felt part of the atmosphere. Tim Matthews proprietor perfect host. Intriguing location.

Beautiful place to stay and superb hospitality

Lovely accomodation, very comfortable bed. The garden was delightful. Tim, the owner, was extremely welcoming and friendly but also left us to enjoy our time there. His suggestions of restaurants was fantastic. We stayed for 4 nights, the breakfasts were plentiful, with very fresh produce. We would definitely recommend and it is now on our list of places to stay, whilst travelling through France.

It is an amazing property and the host Tim is so lovely and helpful. The walled garden is like a beautiful oasis. Everything was just perfect. Montreuil is also really nice with lots of restaurants and bars in a short walk of the hotel.

somehow manages to be both elegant and homely. The eclectic mix of renaissance decor and quirky chic touches makes you feel like you are staying somewhere very cool. Tim is attentive without being intrusive and was always around when needed for advice or to provide a glass of wine. the garden is a real sanctuary complete with comfy chairs and relaxing bird song

Really enjoyed our 3 nights at Maison 76. Tim was an excellent host with lots of recommendations. A great location for exploring Montreuil and the surrounding area.

As a B&B it might be slightly overpriced for some, but we found the reception, the friendliness, the offers of afternoon tea and cake as well as pre dinner drinks to be well worth it. Tim is a very fine host with an eye for everything that pleases. I couldn't recommend this B&B more highly. The 'pre-arranged' evening meal on our arrival including good wine was superb. Breakfast was outstanding with Yorkshire tea served in a silver teapot along with continental fare and a splendid fruit bowl, varied for each of our five days. Yes 10 out of 10 for every aspect of our stay.

Street parking outside the property was 'blue card' and limited to 1 1/2 hour stay but other parking was available nearby. Not too much of a problem, even on a bank holiday weekend, but could be in the height of the 'normal' summer season. Nothing against the B&B of course. Dining out has many recommended options - - -but book early as you could be as disappointed as we were.

Great breakfast !! Very nice and relaxing garden !!

Maison 76 is full of character and sits in the perfect location within Montreuil. Walking distance to bars, restaurants and boulangeries. The House was easy to find, and parking fortunately available right outside Tim greeted us and was also able to provide a superb a la carte meal on our arrival. (Risotto, Duck Pie and Tarte Tartin were incredible). The food was excellent, and accompanied by a perfect French Red The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable and contained all expected amenities (coffee, tea etc). Tim was an excellent host, we just wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely return to see more of Montreuil and enjoy all that Masion 76 has to offer
