Pretty much everything, they were having some remodeling in the 5th floor only. Room service was great, they connect me with the restaurant for Champagne.
Maybe the way to get in & out with car, a card would be easier or the same card from room, as other hotels.

This is one of the best places I've ever stayed during a work trip, and I've been to a lot of places. Clean, safe, friendly. Beautiful view.
Water pressure is a little low in the bathroom for the shower but especially the toilet.

On a 14month trip sometimes it's good (needed) to find a nice upscale hotel and spend a few days relaxing. This hotel seemed to have it all - a pool, comfortable rooms, a little luxury in a city where you'll spend a lot of time in the room. Alas, it proved to be the worst hotel of our 14 month trip to date...
Bed Bugs
Where to begin. I guess let's start with the BED BUGS After 2 nights in the room, we started to get really itchy in the sheets. We were using the brown blankets offered in the room. Within 24hrs of the itchy came giant welts all over my body, these proceeded to become blisters and itch horribly. When we got to our next destination (Nicaragua) we paid to see a doctor and he informed us they're bedbugs.
I had to take antihistamines and use antibiotic cream, and they're still red and inflamed. So.. there is that..
Hotel Bar
Closed until further notice.. ;(
Hotel Key
The hotel runs on a magnetic key system. The key unlocks the elevator and room. Ours never seemed to work and required that each and every day (sometimes twice a day) we had to go back down to the lobby when we found we were either stuck in the elevator or to get in our room.
Internet
As someone who works remotely and enjoys watching YouTube videos and checking social media. Internet is sort of crucial (work at least). This hotel had extremely poor internet service. Not the worst I've experienced, but we were unable to take work calls as the internet would just keep disconnecting over and over.
Pool
After we left we went back and looked at hotel photos. All I can say is yes, they are the same - EXCEPT reality adds another 30 years to the IRL hotel. It looks old, dated, worn, the pool is dire and not all shiny and bright like in the photos. No one is around, it's just a non-romantic, depressing place to stay.
Now I know hotel will respond and make excuses. But, it is what it is. Avoid.

Very comfortable room with balcony and excellent bed.
Breakfast was poor in my opinion. I could take only one option, I'm wegetarian so it was nothing interesting for me. I think that in such place should be open bar breakfast, so I can have what I want and what I like. More coffee for example.

Room and bed.
Unprepared and rude staff.

The breakfast is wonderful.
Water flow of shower was so weak and not confortable.

Loved the bed… very comfortable. Gym is great…. Elegant.
Minor thing but… Hide the spray bottles of Lysol and Raid that are visible behind the front desk at check-in… For a class hotel, it looks sloppy.
The service was excellent!

The view of the Christ statue on the mountain top was amazing. The breakfast was good as well.
The safe gave me a problem but the staff was quick to fix the problem.

The rooms are large and come with a nice balcony. The breakfast was outstanding, so make sure you include it. I did the Hondurenyo breakfast almost every day and it was a great choice. Gym was well equipped also. The entire complex is owned by the same company so feels very safe and secure.
The rooms are a bit dated and the bathrooms could be renovated. My room wasn't ready when I arrived and they had me wait in the lobby until another staff member found me there and was surprised. The room they gave me (which I suspect was already ready) was on the same floor as the gym on a lower floor, so not the most amazing view, but it was ok.
