Very nice, cozy apartment, centrally located in Leeuwarden. It had everything we wanted. I never met the host but we communicated via chat and she was very helpful and friendly.

No complaints really but if you have trouble walking stairs this is not the place for you. If you arrive by car be aware that you can not park in the area, if you are not a citizen of Leeuwarden. There is a parking garage within walking distance (by a large Jumbo grocery store) and the fees are very reasonable (max 4 EUR per day).

The apartment was easy to get to from the train station, and the keys were in a lockbox waiting when I get there. Inside there was ample room spread over 3 floors - the kitchen was large with table and chairs for eating meals and everything necessary to prepare meals - fridge, microwave, stovetop, kettle, lots of cutlery and dishes and cleaning materials. Upstairs was the living room and washroom. The washroom was fairly large, with a excellent shower and lots of space. There was also a washing machine that worked great. The living room was comfortable with a large tv with plenty of options to watch. Downstairs was the bedroom - large, comfortable bed with plenty of lights for reading. All-in-all an excellent place to explore Leeuwarden and the region.

Most of the information required for the apartment was provided through an app; for those of us of a certain vintage making a paper copy available would be helpful but other than that no problems what-so-ever.

De locatie is top.

De slaapkamer is in het souterrain. Maar dat is een beetje klam en vochtig. Daardoor ging er een viezige, bedompte geur. Jammer: ik zou de slaapkamer boven gemaakt hebben (dat is dus begane grond) naast de badkamer. Als je nu ‘s nachts naar het toilet moet, moet je twee smalle trapjes op. Het beddengoed is kleurrijk, dus als er smerige vlekken inzitten zie je dat niet. Dat voelt niet fijn. Het bed was heel gekreukeld opgemaakt en voelde ook klam aan. Dat, in combinatie met de bedompte geur maakte dit helaas geen fijne beleving. Beter dus de ‘woonkamer’ beneden en het bed naast de badkamer. Dan was het prima geweest. De rest van het appartement hebben we niet gebruikt (keuken) dus dat kunnen we niet beoordelen.

het dekbed: 1 synthetisch dekbed, geen variatie mogelijkheid, dus te warm of te koud. geen alternatieven.

Het was heel fijn dat we al om een uur of twaalf binnen mochten,bedankt daarvoor.

Te veel om op te noemen.

Обычно в номере гостиницы телевизор перед кроватью, здесь телевизор в гостиной чуть выше уровня входа, а спальня отдельно в полуподвальном помещении ниже этого уровня. Ничего страшного, конечно

Fabulous location. Roomy suit in the heart of the city. Basement bedroom was nice and cool in the warm weather. Very clean. Great kitchen and cable channels on the TV.

Can't think of a thing we did not like.
