It was as if the property was nestled in a scenic storybook town out of a Walt Disney movie. Based on the size of my family (wife and two children), I occupied two rooms. The beds were super comfortable and clean. After traveling 10 hours by airplane and a 2 hour car ride, I was undoubtedly looking forward to a nice and quiet nights sleep, which is exactly what I received. My wife kids slept great too. Upon the start of our first day in Ireland, we all awakened to a delicious made to order breakfast with hot cereal poached eggs, and scrumptious bacon. The Macreddin Rock B&B was an excellent decision and quality for the price.

I have nothing that I didn’t like.

Lovely helpful people, quiet location yet plenty to do in an area of outstanding beauty. The breakfast was excellent. Locally, Avondale house and the treetop walk is a must see. We saw it on a rainy, misty day. On a lovely day it would be stunning!

The hosts were lovely. A font of local information. Breakfast was great a variety of hot and cold.

Could hear talking from the next room but not sure how that would be solved.

The location was excellent and out if the way in an environment that says Ireland. Brilliant with the birds playing outside. The breakfast was fresh and filling with a great selection. Lovely puddings. Very clean place. I would go back.

The walls are a bit thin meaning I could hear snoring from another room. Wooden floors looked great but increased noise.

Excellent breakfast. Very well trained staff. Owners were lovely, chatty and filled us in on all the local history, and gave us directions on visiting the local places of interest. Will definitely revisit.

Macreddin Rock is a hidden jem. Owners Michael and Margaret were fantastic hosts. Rooms were clean and fresh, everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Great wi-fi connection, too. Breakfast was best I've had in a long time, and there were plenty of options to choose from. I slept really well and enjoyed the quietness away from the usual noises of the city. I'm definitely planning to come back and stay again

Delightful little B&B located right next to a sheep farm. It was a great way to experience the Irish countryside. The hosts are both incredibly helpful. Would highly recommend this place as a base to explore Wicklow and Glendalough

Margaret is a great host and very accommodating. The room was clean and comfy and the breakfast was so tasty.

The location is a little hard to get to and isn’t serviced well by public transport but if you have a private car, it’s beautiful and well worth the visit.
