no toilet paper in the standard, same with towels. non-English speaking personnel - that’s why we experienced miscommunication following by further accusation of damage that we didn’t make (including threatening with Police and court). I don’t recommend !!!!

Everything! It’s really well kept and just perfect! Upon arrival, already everything ready and safety check (COVID certificate) done as it should be. Close to so many things to see or do but still outside for a quiet and relaxing time. The houses are just wow! Quality all the way! You see that the owners are taking care of their homes and appreciate that the guests do the same. It was our second time there but definitely not our last! The kids loved the play area. We definitely recommend this place.

The way some guests were not happy about the rules. If you can’t follow the rules then stay home.

Attention!!!!! Warning!!!!! Danger!!!!!! Book this apartment if and only if you accept following risk. 1. The landlord can throw you out of the apartment even in the mid-night with sleeping kids for any reason. 2. The landlord family can treat you with discrimination because you are foreigner. 3. All of the mentioned facilities may not be available in the apartment, (e.g., renting bike, and using pool). 4. Want to bring your house during the holiday for very basic needs (e.g., toilet paper, toilet soaps, kitchen soaps, etc.). 5. No need of mobile network and internet.

I am providing the above warning to the potential guest of the beautiful city of Soltau based on my personal experiences. The landlord family (father, mother, and son) came to our apartment on the fourth night of our stay to throw us out of the apartment at around 23:00, giving us 15 mins time to pack our things. They told that we need to go because one of the kids (13 years old) with us wrote a negative (true) review about the apartment in Google. We were staying in this apartment with 3 kids (4, 6, and 13 years old). We have booked this apartment for six nights via “booking.com.” While trying to throw us out, they used discriminating words for our country of origin. After such behaviour, we called local police for help. We had very tensed moments until the police arrived. The landlords were threating us to remove the negative review to let us stay the night in the apartment. However, there is no internet or mobile network in the apartment or near by. They also lied to us. They told the police with never come because under German Civil Law the landlords have rights to throw the guests out anytime they want on the basis of bad behaviour. They told that our booking was cancelled we would receive an email from booking.com about this in 5 mins. The email never came, which I cross-check later on. The negative review the kid made was based on the three point (3-5) mentioned above. The kid was and is so afraid that this negative review is not deleted. Additionally, there are other issues regarding this apartment which I do not like to remember. I do not want to go again through that nightmare. However, I am writing this review so that other guests can avoid such horrible experiences during their holidays in the beautiful place, Soltau, with a lot of attractions and activities.

kitchen was very well equipped and the surrounding garden was nice

bedroom quality and the staff attitude was very very poor.

Great for families, very quiet and serene setting in the forest with beautiful gardens and playground.

The owner was very unpleasant and obsessive about our use of light in the house. And was checking on us at night to see which light we did or did not use. It was very unpleasant.

There were some corners needed extra cleaning, spider nets and dust on the shelves for exame Beds were not very comfortable, pillows very flat and bunk bed is really difficult for junior kid and not safe for very young one

The house was very nice, beautiful, comfortable, equipped with modern technologies. It was a pleasure to cook on their kitchen.

There was no Wifi, internet, even mobile connection didn't work. When we needed to call someone we had to drive to a village. It is great place to calm down with your family, but if you need to stay connected, it is hard to manage.
