Pokoje jsou vybaveny klimatizací, k dispozici je kuchyňka vybavená základním nádobím, připojení k WiFi je dostatečně. Casa a Carlotta není resortem u pláže, ale k moři to je pár metrů. Je umístěno u náměstí, kde jsou samoobsluhy s potravinami, obchody se suvenýry a dobrou restaurací. Kuchařka nám každé ráno připravovala chutnou snídani, ovoce a čerstvý džus. V areálu je každý den k dispozici manažer, který pomůže a poradí se vším a majitel. Společnost nám dělaly jeho malé, roztomilé děti, které kromě svahilštiny hovoří skvěle italsky a anglicky. Všichni byli velmi milí. V noci je objekt střežen místním masajem. Cítili jsme se velmi bezpečně.

Na stránkách booking je uvedeno asi starší telefonní číslo, na které se není možné dovolat. Systém rezervaci je trochu popletený, jednu noc jsme musely přespat v jiném hotelu, který zajistil majitel. Všechno bylo vyřešeno dobře.

Roy was very attentive, and the rest of the staff were really nice. The room was always cleaned, and breakfast was good. The area is close by to the beach and there are many shops around and it is bustling so feels very safe.

The WiFi wasn't always the best.

Schönes, gemütliches großes Zimmer. Gute Lage im Ort, Strand, viele Gaststädten und Supermarkt in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Sehr nettes Personal. Gutes Frühstück, Zubereitung nach Auswahl auf Bestellung, frische Früchte.

In der Beschreibung zum Objekt ist nicht zu finden das in dem Haus mehrere Zimmer gleichzeitig an Gästen vermietet werden. Ein großer Raum im Haus sowie die große Terrasse kann von allen Gästen benutzt werden, das kann in der Nacht sehr stören, wenn laut gesprochen oder telefoniert wird, Ich war eine Woche dort, zum Glück war es nur in einer Nacht laut.

Internet connectivity was an issue and power connection was lost for few hours on one of the nights.

Good location, close to the beach with good breakfast. Two small shops just around the corner, and a few good restaurants. One of them - Baraka - serves great grilled lobster for 25.000 TZS (cca 9 EUR).

We love this place it was a wonderful experience. Close to the beach and shops. we share beautiful moments. Mauricio Roger and staff were always there to maximize our experience . We will be coming back soon

We stayed in Casa Carlotta in low season (April) and it was wonderful experience. This is a simple and quiet place with beautiful garden, just some few minutes from the beach, well surrounded (shops, pharmacy, restaurants..). We liked everything about this place, especially very good reliable service (you wake up and breakfast is waiting for you ready to be served, everything is clean, kitchen is well equipped (even blender!), room service is perfect too, a good pressure in shower, hot water, AC working very well, bbq possible). Terrace is very inviting as well, we enjoyed it so much while it was raining. There are everything we needed to have comfortable vacations. I would say the conditions here are very good with European accent, compared to other places we stayed in Zanzibar. Thank you Maurizio and Prisca for creating such a good place in Nungwi and Roy, who was kindly taking care of everything. We would definitely come back again.

First of all, congratulations to the friendliness of the owner of the house, Mr. Mauricio, and to Roy who's is the manager of the house... he will treat you as if you were in your own house! 5 stars!! And the room is big and vry clean! The breakfast fantastic! And is in the centre only 2 minutes walking of the best beach. highly recommended!

I like everything about Carlotta villa, it's very close to the beach and the market. Big thank you to Roy who's is the manager of the villa, he was looking after us very good. I would definitely come back and i am highly recommend this villa if anyone like to visit Zanzibar.

The internet failed a few times. On average, the internet is good but not reliable if you have to work remotely.

No welcome, no info when we arrived about the property, one bedroom was locked for few hours, no mosquito net on the beds even if they confirmed us, poor communication etc. etc.

Casa Carlotta is like an oasis in the middle of chaos. The room was perfect, the bed was heaven. Everything is very clean. Breakfast was wonderful with fresh fruit every day. The common area invites you to spend time there and meet fellow travelers while enjoying the view of the beautiful garden. The beach is a 3 minute walk. The owners and the staff welcome you like you've been a long awaited relative, I've never felt more welcome on the island I prolonged my stay, I hope that says it all 😀

The hosts are very nice and welcoming. The staff is so friendly and helpful. From Casa Carlotta to the beach and restaurants it's only a 4 minutes walk. Shops are just around the corner. I really enjoyed my stay there.
